Righto, so I made a thread on the forums about a motto/battle cry, but since they are down, I'll try to recreate it in just one post here.
'Hi all, Lance Corporal Paulo1 here.
So, I was thinking recently about a clan motto, or perhaps a battle cry. Do we have one already? (I now know that our motto is Build, Defend, Die.) If not, I suggest we think up of one.
Sure, we have each seperate motto for each battalion. For example, the 3rd battalion. Peace through prosperity!
Why can't we have one that we can all share? Remember, it needs to be quick, catchy, and simple.
My server Mystery_project-[Freebuild] is still open for all RMM members on rmm_only and rmm_training levels, Send me a PM of your username for a rankup.
@pulsusego: This is all planning on having enough members. I know that it uses, erm, at least 12 soldiers, I didn't go back and count, but if we don't have that much in a battalion, which in the beginning has just 1 division, we really don't have enough people for a clan, y'know? 12 isn't a lot, and I know a bunch of people will come in after MPS comes out, seeing as we are one of the most known and prevalent clans. We already have a good number of people in the 3rd, and many more undecided, so even before release, we have a good number of soldier. So don't worry about it, 'kay?
@Lord_Aidan/Haro: Colors would be used on uniforms for identification, and having the same colors as blocks allows for building identification and a lot more things that I can't think of right now because I am braindead. :L
@Toda: One problem, and why everyone talking about spelunking is getting me frustrated: these caves rarely, if ever, connect to anything. Mostly they're just hidden deep underground, not accessible from a cave or anything, which makes finding them near impossible. I found one above ground under some sand once, but that was lucky.
i dont know if i said it before, appearently not;
i have to worry about it for this reason: if we only have one of each division, we can only have one settlement... it would be LOADS more efficient to have the one all-purpose squad, rather than many specific ones. besides, who really wants to be stuck gathering resources permanently?

This is an update to my project on Mystery_Project.
I am considering the Royal Officers' Academy complete. There are a few small details to plug in, such as working doors, but everything else is done. For anyone who hasn't visited this cool map, the Academy looks like this:
For orientation: Nintendow1's epic settlement is to the south, LuciferZ's mansion to the southeast.
(Yes, that does say 6 fps, my ancient laptop hates full draw distance)
Here's an overview of the Facilities:
-Main Hall
This is where most classes are held. The fortress features 16 classrooms, 8 administrative offices, a lecture hall, and a library. Courses include basic tactics, field engineering, architecture, and underwater basket weaving.
-Cadet's Dormitory
This is where the students will spend their nights. The dormitory has 66 rooms with a total of 132 beds, a common room, and a communal shower. The building is currently for men only, but can easily be made co-ed with a simple dividing wall. There are rumors of a secret society underneath the building. This is utter nonsense.
-Mess Hall
Basic eating facilities. Its difficult to sell this, so I won't try. It's food.
-Spleef Stadium
No college is complete without a sports team, and the ROA does not disappoint. The stadium includes seating for several hundred, and dedicated locker rooms for both the home and visiting teams. In the spirit of honor and sportsmanship, both rooms are equal, but its not our fault if the visitors can't seem to find enough towels.
-Drill Field
This field is both a decorative centerpiece and a teaching facility. At the north end is an archery range, while melee dummies stand at the southern end.
-Officers' Dormitory
This building has much more luxurious amenities than the Cadet's Dormitory. The common room encircles a massive fireplace, and each room has a single bed, bookcase, and work desk. The Dean's Quarters can be found in the Southern Wing, on the second floor.
-Royal Chapel
The ROA prides itself in religious tolerance, and so its founders provided the Chapel for all services. The Chaplain's office is hear, as well as the Academy coffers.
-Advanced Science Laboratories
Here both students and professors can delve deep into the secrets of nature with modular and easily adjustable facilities. The Lab is currently set up for Ballistics Testing, Nuclear Chemistry, Botany, and Rocketry.
If you would like to make your mark here, keep in mind that each of these buildings can be named for a soldier. First come, first serve, identify the building you want and it's yours!
mm, no problem. when i write long things like i did before, it takes me a while to thiink it allll out. but when i think it out, i think it out well. go me, i'm a thinker! (i'm sorry, sleep deprevation again..)

Right you guys have seemed to get all excited without any approval from the High Command. I am open to suggestions, and am glad that you guys are trying to make the clan better. However, I am going to have to turn down several of these ideas. Firstly, the special ranks or group idea thing in the battalions - it is up the battalion major to organize his battalion and having pre-defined groups is going to be in-efficient and complicated.
Secondly, we are not going to use colours on the uniform to identify ranks - we never have and never will. You can simply ask for someone's rank and they will provide it correctly. Which brings me nicely on to the topic of when to say "sir". You always always always use either just "sir" or "name, sir". Secondly, if you do not know weather someone is higher and lower than you, you say "sir".
Sorry not to take any of the suggestions and use them, but they are all terribly complicated.
So, I was thinking recently about a clan motto, or perhaps a battle cry. Do we have one already? (I now know that our motto is Build, Defend, Die.) If not, I suggest we think up of one.

im haveing some problems.. when ever i goto the minecraft website i get " 404 Not Found " and if i try and load my hacked client , it wont retrieve server list
darkthero? i have no idea. mine is working fine :/
and iPope, sir, i know it will most likeley not be accepted. and now that you mention it, i somewhat doubt permanent teams, for the lack of members actualy being there. most likeley it'll just be 'fort blah needs more 3rd engineers, and we have plenty. send all but one.' or something like that. spur of the moment who needs what kind of thing.
i still say that once all the battalkons are set up, we need a... manual, for each. just a guide on rules and possibly strategies, to go beyond the general descriptions and jobs.
edit:*** i was wrong. minecraft hates me. google says the link is broken :tongue.gif:

Would be good training though you can improve your spelunking skills by finding them and improve your fighting ability by killing mobs.
I don't know. He was either smoking or talking about like, a thing to put near your quarters so they know who sleeps there.
