Alright, leaders.
We have a proposal.
In SMP, we need some way for member to easily identify each other that will be visible even with armor on. After much experimentation some of the new recruits on the server decided that the best way would be to have a band of your rank-color with grey around it. Like this: <--Shirt sleeve <--Band <-- Arm
This way we could easily see which people were our peaceful members, and which were our enemies.
What do you think? We would like feedback and, if possible, an official seal of approval.
Thanks, PrincepsRegulus
Edit: The skin could also have another official logo somewhere, but this would make it visible with armor on.
That's the idea.
Edit 2: Changed color format a bit
Alright, proposal number two: bands necessary, with a recommended (but optional) CP on the back.
One or both of the letters would be your ranks color.
Mine looks like this:
Again, optional, but recommended. Your thoughts?
the bands are a good idea, seeing as how to armor on minecraft doesn't cover your arms, the idea of the cp is good for civilians ingame that do not wish to fight against the enemy, in all I think the idea of the CP is really good and the bands are well placed :biggrin.gif:
There are streets lined with flowers, little rural houses...
I even built one myself!
Of course, we'd better keep this server private. This is a griefer haven. D:
I also proposed an idea with a few of the (very friendly) users on the server, most of whom I've seen on this forum board many times before. We were planning to build a gigantic castle of sorts (wohoho, medieval talk). I was completely amazed of the world.
We might need a bit of a more private world, to our users above the blue rank. It would have randomly generated landscape, leading them to build buildings that go with the natural land. Maybe on the other end of the "Portal".
I would like to join! My ingame name is Dodobirdlord and I spend most of my time mining. :biggrin.gif:
I recently hollowed out an underground cavern containing over 10,000 stone. I don't actually like building with the stone I mine, but I enjoy mining it immensely.

And my fists dont punch trees down or break rocks....
Ok so let's make wood be the strongest material, make pigs fly, and make cows produce lava instead of milk.
Also, on the armbands as the skin. I like the idea, but I think ranks should have symbols and colors incorporated into the band. Right now it seems a bit to simple.

My in-game name is GardenGnome, and I like to just gather resources like wood and stone, I'm not one for digging deep. I think I would be a good shopkeeper.
No, it would make it easier to see friend or foe, and new or pro. I've done it to my Dr. Robotnik skin and it looks good.
(can't upload image though not my computer)
Just a quick note, everyone. This clan, the Anarcho-Communists, could be a wee bit of an issue. They seem like the kind who would gang up and try to kill us all. While I do not suggest open hostilities, keeping an eye on them would be a good idea.
Also, Roadcrosser, I think that compared to some clans' skin requirements, this is asking very little. I've gotten a lot of popular support and would very much appriciate it if you would at least consider it.
Anyways, I'm resigning from CPoS. Have fun guys.
Hallowed be thy domain.
Thy search to come,
Thy results be done..

Although Civilization and Anarchy aren't the best of friends, Possibly if money is something you do not support they won't have a problem with you.
