A political, economic, and militaristic town that values organization and amusement
About Us:
"My philosophy is: If you can't have fun, there's no sense in doing it." - Paul Walker
Dronenum, a medieval-styled town established on a towny server, is a clan which strives to bring an organized and relaxed gaming experience to all within its walls. Nearly every aspect of Minecraft is available for new members to be apart of in guilds that are specially designed to make sure that organization reigns supreme. In the end of the day this is all still a game, and games are meant to be fun. We realize this at Dronenum, and work with this in mind- Treat it like its important, play it like its a game.
Why You Should Join:
"Join because we need you and you need us." Doorstop25
Dronenum can only function when its members function. Because of the use of guilds, the member is the most important part of the clan, and we all realize this. As a member of Dronenum, you will not be ordered or bossed around; many freedoms are given to our members. Your only obligations in the clan are to follow the rules and meet your quota. You may have a personal house, your personal money and materials. Not much is required from a member when it comes to activity: all we require is that you come on every once and a while and that you announce your absences. In the end, Dronenum is meant as a place to benefit the town and member, not the owner.
Many positions are also open as of now! There are many guilds that need leaders, military positions, specialized positions, ect. The clan is still very young, and experienced leaders and followers alike will be able to prosper in Dronenum.

Alteria, the current server we play on, is a medieval-styled towny server. A few of the major plugins are MCMMO, Towny, Lockette, Dungeons, and ChestShop. The server has been running for around four weeks as of now and is fully staffed with a team of professional admins and moderators. We are the second largest town on the server but only boast a few buildings here and there. The server has a survival world, a creative world, and a dungeon world where players can go to fight monsters in order to receive money.

Sectors:
"I will insist on a military so powerful no one would ever think of challenging it." Mitt Romney
Dronenum is currently divided up into two different branches or sectors: The Military and the Civilian Sector. While they may function like individual clans, they in fact support each other, and without the other each sector cannot function. There is a leader for each branch - a Military Administrator and a Civilian Administrator who lead the Military and Civilians respectively. They hold little power when it comes to dealing with other sector and both administrators answer only to the Mayor; however, all three leaders (both administrators and the mayor) act together to lead the town somewhat like a triumvirate. The mayor ultimately holds all the power within the clan yet both administrators have a major influence when it comes to making clan decisions. Each leader is also in place to help keep the other leaders in check regarding power.
It is easy to deduce that the military fights and the civilians build up the town, but what is the relationship between the two? The basics are that the military defends the town and wages war on other nations while the civilians help provide them with the proper materials to do such tasks. The military will not be handed everything they need and will thus need to gather some materials for themselves, but the supplies they do receive are food, coal, minimal iron, wood, and horses. Both sides are equal in rank, and neither side holds authority over the other both as a sector and individually.
The Civilian Sector
The Civilian Sector is in charge of everything regarding the town and future towns. Their domain of management encompasses the guilds, the economy, trade, and the architecture. All civilians will live in the town or in the area surrounding the town and are all citizens.
Civil Administrator- LordMcFailure
The Military Sector
The Military Sector defends Dronenum and wages war against enemy towns and nations. They are to fight in the survival world as well as farm the dungeons in the dungeon world. Other activities include scouting, diplomacy, and mob protection. All military personal are stationed in the military fortress and members do not need to be civilians. The military also follows a strict hierarchal chain-of-command with many ranks and positions. Military members are paid a certain salary every Wednesday and Saturday.
Military Administrator- Doctor_Death
Guilds:
"The work of the individual still remains the spark that moves mankind ahead even more than teamwork." Igor Sikorsky
The guild is the most basic form of organization found at Dronenum. Guilds act essentially like miniature clans, and are established in order to maximize a player's time and talents. Guilds are run by the town and may appoint the guild leaders, people who are responsible for the guild to meet the quota, to make organize the workforce, and to manage all other aspects of the guild. Some examples of guilds include the Farmer's Guild, the Miner's Guilder, and the Engineering Guild. Any member may request to create a guild, given that he will agree to build the guild house and that he is a responsible leader.
Since the guilds are run by the civil sector, they are to give a portion, or quota, of what they produce every Wednesday and Saturday to the town as a form of tax. These quotas will be determined by the guild leader and Civil Administrator, but will allow for members to have ample time to pursue other activities. The quota is in place to assist the town, not to burden the citizens.
The Civil Administrator has full authority over all of the guilds and is effectively in charge of them all. Since there is only one Civil Administrator and many guilds, guild leaders are appointed to manage the guilds on a much smaller level. The guild leader is the real leader of the guild as he is the one who makes sure the quotas are met and everything is in order. Guild leaders are able to appoint members to special ranks within the guild, such as an officer or resource manager, yet these ranks hold no real importance outside of the guild. There is the basic member of the guild, full citizens of Dronenum who help meet the quotas for the guild. They are offered free housing in the guild house along with supplies to assist them. The lowest member of a guild is the Initiate, a member who has just recently joined the clan. They are to prove themselves worthy of being capable to work in a guild and live in the town for a few days before they gain full citizenship.

Being a part of the military sector alongside Doctor_Death, I can say I'm really looking forward to how this server is going to turn out and I'm excited for people to apply and join the town. The dungeons are a ton of fun and it would be great to have a giant group (or maybe even the entire town) go dungeoning one night.
