Whats the best way of making a server? I want to create one, but don't know how. Can some people help me? When I'm done with this, I'll make a new thread with the server's link. Thanks!
There are a few tutorials I'll name but have a read through of
ShayGaming24's Post. It shows you some links to some modding sites and versions for mods
Minecraft has been a lot more complicated on making servers ever since 1.7.10 Just search on youtube.
Research everything I say or it makes no sense
"How to create a bukkit server" (Mods From Bukkit)
"How to create a spigot server" (Mods From Spigot) AKA the link ShayGaming24 said
Or if you want a plain normal server "How to create a Vanilla server"
Also, Just to help you out
-Doesn't matter what you pick Bukkit and Spigot work together
- If you want people to join you need to be on the same internet unless you Portforward (Search "How to port forward a server)
-It's a lot more complicated than just running a .exe file and its done it's not an installer its a bunch of files merged into one
Summing it up. It's better just to find some other servers to play on its very complicated and you will get confused easily and I know this because I am an owner of a server
