Ok, so short and simple. i have been literally banging my head against a wall for the past 5 hours trying to figure this out. When i use the /mv create command to create a NEW world map, it creates it perfectly fine, all is good... at least till i try to tp to it, it just tp's me back to overworld spawn hub... i have retried dozens of times, tried making portals to the locations only to be teleported back to the spawn point again. I also tried nether and end worlds, but, same story.. again... and again.. can i get any respite? Possibly, from the helpful folks here!
I made the worlds using /mv create prophunt1 NORMAL -t FLAT and did the same for the others, with different names of course, i also tried making a portal with a world edit wand (since if you have WE you can use its want as a MV wand) and used the /mvp create newportal e:prophunt1:se and it tooke me to spawn hub again. But i did notice that with either the portal or the /mvtp command, i would revert back to survival if i was in creative, so at first i thought it was just duplicating the main map, but sadly, it is not that simple lol. The worlds are created, they are in the right place, MV see's them, but we just cant use the /mvtp command to go to them, we just get sent directly to noob spawn. It is quite frustrating.
reinstalled core/portals(also installed inventories cause i needed it anyway)
re imported worlds
same thing, it teleports me to the noob spawn, i have just recently tried doing it with dim1 which is my nether world, when i use the /mvtp command it takes me to noob spawn again, the ONLY one that works is twilight forest? im not understanding why the nether one wont work? i can go to the portal, and go there, and by portal i mean vanilla nether portal, but i cant use /mvtp for some reason.
Ok so it must not have anything to do with multiverse, i installed multiworlds plugin for giggles, it does the same thing, so it must be perms i guess?
Likely its either a multiverse configuration error, a lack of permissions, which shouldn't matter if your OPped (MVcore should show you a list of perms you need, unless you changed it in the config.yml), or you might have a plugin conflict. Have you tried creating a normal, nonflat world? Have you altered the config.yml or worlds.yml in anyway?
Exactly what i thought, and also read later in when i have been digging into it, that MV core auto perms OP'ed players, i have not mess with any of the config files other than to look and see everything was kosher. I have tried creating different types of worlds, flat, non flat, end flat/normal gen, nether flat/normal gen, and they all take me back to spawn. I have even done a fresh install of MV core and its other components, and re imported the worlds, deleted test worlds, tried again, all leading to the same thing. When i removed MV core i decided to install MultiWorlds plugin to try an alternative, way of deducing, i created a world with it, and it did the same thing MV did, so im thinking its a clash somewhere, i use groupmanager to handle my perms, but i assume if i didnt have the perms to use /mvtp it would just give me a lack of perms error and not let me port at all, instead of just porting me back to spawn.
Well, based on what you've mentioned, I would wager that there's a problem with one or more of your plugins or your version of spigot or craftbukkit. First, I would double check all of your plugins and server jar to make sure they're up-to-date. Also, be sure you're Opped:
ut i did notice that with either the portal or the /mvtp command, i would revert back to survival if i was in creative
this leads me to believe that you are/were not Opped, since OPs get this permission node by default: [mv.bypass.gamemode.*]; this should prevent your gamemode from changing at all. Being Opped should help you determine if its a permission error. You might also check your config file for the setting on this: enforceaccess: 'false', it could be causing the problem, as it can be modified via command line. If you've done this and had no luck, I'd go and disable all of your other plugins by renaming them: <PluginName>.jar.disabled. If your problem then goes away, it's an issue with a plugin, otherwise it's problem with your server or mvcore itself. Most likely its a plugin that deals with teleportation or respawn.
This is resolved as of about 10 hours ago. After several hours of poking around, it was essentials spawn that was stopping me from using /mvtp, i think it had something to do spawn pathing conflicting in some way, anyway, i just made MV my main spawn handler. The mvtp command was knocking me out of creative due to permissions on world change, that was easily fixxed. Everything is up and running smoothly again, now my real progress begins.
/mvtp test1
/mvtp test2
/mvtp test3
/mvtp prophunt1
etcetcetc

Things i have done so far:
delete multiverse core/portals
reinstalled core/portals(also installed inventories cause i needed it anyway)
re imported worlds

Thank you all who have helped.
