So i port forwarded to let people int my server. My friends can join fine except for one. He tells me he gets stuck in a screen that says logging in, whenever he tries to connect to my server. Anyone know why? is it on my end or his?
if other people have no issue joining, then its likely the person who cant is the one with the issue on their end.
It *sounds like* they have a sub-par internet connection, although, it could also be occurring because of a situation where the successfully connected people have saturated your available upstream bandwidth, leaving them left with only a trickle of data from the server.
if you could determine both of your connection speeds (mainly the servers upstream value, and their downstream value) with a tool like speedtest.net, then we could stop guessing and see for sure.
one other remote possibility is that there is some corruption with their player.dat file on the server. Deleting it would mean that they would loose their inventory and achievements, but if it does fix the issue, it may be a price they would gladly pay.
Good Luck!
P.S. the <playername>.dat files are located in the world folders, inside another folder called 'players'

If the statement above doesn't work then you should probably double check that you haven't accidently whitelisted the server or banned them or their ips?

IF the above was occurring, there would be very clear messages sent to the client and the affected user would be complaining to ScaredSXE about the fact that they were 'banned' or 'not whitelisted' instead.
