Just recently I had a D-Link router that let me host my own server perfectly and was very clean with port forwarding. Sadly, that old fella took a fall and broke, so we replaced it with a Belkin router (model F9K1103V1).
I've already looked up some guides on opening specific ports for specific programs (such as Minecraft) and they all fail to succeed at allowing Minecraft through. As stated before, I DO know how to open ports and I HAVE done it before.
I would like to avoid using program based servers (like Hamachi) so that I am in complete control of what happens on my server.
Does anyone have this model and know how to get through port forwarding?
