Hey my friend owns a server and he was just goofing around and used the world edit command //replace and it ended up crashing his server and my client. I have the crash log here http://pastebin.com/6VgMt0DY and as a side not I'm running my own mod on my client in case you see the words scicraft and don't know what that means.
Does the server restart after, or is it stuck crashed? it probably just ran out of memory and crashed. Try reinstalling worldedit if you think it is something bigger though.
Your server should just restart up again. How big was the replacement? There's a chance it may have corrupted your world if it was large enough, you should do regular backups at least once a day.
It crashed the server and he was able to get it back up. The funny part was that it replaced the area we selected and didn't corrupt the world.
I'd say you're pretty lucky then, it can be really stressful on a server doing even small WorldEdit commands. If there aren't any other players online besides you guys then it isn't too much of a risk, but it's still a good idea to seperate commands like replacements into a few smaller commands so the lag is minimal
