There is always a stable version. The existence of development builds doesn't change that one bit.
I think you're missing my point. People will always got to these, "development builds" or "Prereleases" for new content. This happened with the prereleases and it will happen again now. Several servers I go on completely died because everyone switched to the prereleases. And because of this, mods did and will have to constantly adjust for the current development build, or prerelease to stay up with the demands of the huge amount of people flocking to them. Its not about the existence of the stable version at all, its the fact that there wont be a singular version that everyone stays on, and this will be a pain in the ass for server owners and mod developers.
This is the most retarted thing ever. The release was supposed to mark a stable version that all the servers and players and mods are on the same page with. Now with this ****, its going to be like the prereleases again, with uncertainty across all modders and players about what version to be on. Thanks for being an idiot, jeb.
