Hey guys, today I present to you my WIP on and off project I've been working on for a few months, I call it And Miles to go Until I Sleep... after the final line from the famous Robert Frost poem Stopping by Wood on a Snowy Evening. Why you ask? Because it sounds cool. Now enough with the background history of this pack lets get to actually showcasing the pack.
Pictures:
(Please note that this is an early alpha version of the pack so not a lot is finished and everything is subject to change. Got any suggestions? Post in the comments!
(This picture showcases the stone and my ores)
(This picture shows off all of the ore blocks, it's hard to notice but yes the coal block does have a texture it's not just bucket filled)
(This image showcases all of the wools in the game using my texture pack.)
- Use any of my textures in your own pack unless you ask me for permission
- Use an adfly, or any other money making website, if you use my textures in your pack
- Make mod support for my texture pack unless you ask me
Well, that is all I have got at this point in time, I will be updating this continuously so be sure to keep updated, remember if you have any suggestions/comments please leave them below!
P.S. As you can see my current banner for this pack is not very good so please feel free to make me a new one, you will receive full credit.
Yeah, I don't really like the border around the emerald either, I'll remove that next update. Also lighter grass? Lol, I always thought it needed to be darker, I'll try out your idea though and see how it looks.
- Replaced the multiplayer background from Mojang's dirt texture to my dirt texture. Pic below.
What it looks like:
(Ignore the blurring I just did that to hide the server ip's I play on.)
The next update will be the first update where I include block textures so stay tuned!
Also, you may notice the signature for this texture pack changed, so if you want to support this pack the link to the signature is http://i.imgur.com/jlc8WIc.png
UPDATE #3
- Added all types of wooden plank textures
- Added all types of stair textures
- Added fence textures
The planks (left to right; oak, spruce, birch, jungle):
Oak planks in an NPC village:
(P.S. I don't really like the spruce wood, I think it should it should be a little more brown and a little less orange, I have left a poll so you can vote on what you think I should do.)
It looks good! I like your colours, and there's a very distinctive style. However, there are some very visible lines diagonally across the grass; I would suggest fixing them up. Also, the ore blocks (iron block, gold block, lapis block etc) could do with a little more shape, instead of just squares of noise.

Thank you, I will try and fix the grass by next update, also I attempted to shape the ore blocks... did not go well.. I can of course try again though.
I think the planks are a little too bright and maybe a little bit too rich in colour. Also, I think the different ores could have different shapes it doesn't have to be hugely different in every one, but just a little bit. I think that would make them look more realistic.
But otherwise great!
About the planks I agree to a certain extent, I personally like the oak and jungle planks I think I will keep those the same, but the spruce and birch planks definitely need work. Also I'll do some test textures for the ores see if I find any I like.
Note: Now when you put my banner in your signature when clicked on it will redirect to my resource pack page, to get this effect please put in your sig this code:

I'm not so hot on the way the stone tiles. You can kinda tell that it's separate blocks, which you should aim to fix. The oak wood is very orangey as well. Other than that, it's not bad. I personally wouldn't replace my current pack with it however, but I still like it.
