Hey guys. I was looking for a snow/ice world texture pack that would give everything a cold/frozen appearance. I've already looked around on these forums and google and couldn't find anything. If anyone wants to make this please go right ahead. If no one else does, I'll take a stab at it and post it on this subtopic.
Thanks!
I'm looking for one that isn't christmas themed. More like a below zero over-frozen barren ice world.
maybe you should actually look at the painterly pack
christ
I just did, and many of the blocks (for example, the tnt, which is skinned as "presents," and the bookshelves, which have stockings over them) are christmas themed. I don't want christmas.
then the "non-snowy" blocks/items/mobs wouldn't fit in with the theme.
in other words u want like metal instead of wood?
I was explaining to the other guy that I didn't want the painterly christmas theme, I want something more barren. I want something that would look like wood that has actually frozen, or has a blue-ish tint to it, to imply that it is frozen. I was thinking about trying to change the hue of my texture pack that I've been working on, but I doubt it would look good at all.

o so like the default textures only with ice and stuff stuck to em? i could do that

Then don't select the christmas themed items, it's as simple as that.
Everything else you are asking for is there. End of story.
I don't think you understand what the OP wants, and you're not being very helpful at all.
You tried suggesting something and it's not what he wanted. Don't keep going on about it as if he's wrong or silly for not wanting it.
TBH, he requests an Ice themed texture pack, which the painterly christmas set does a brilliant job of, then says it's not what he wants. while he has sai he dosent want it, i can understand Riley's POV
Thanks!
P.S. NOT PAINTERLY'S CHRISTMAS PACK!
there.
o like an Antarctica one? i could make one for you but it'll be a loooong wait...

not necessarily the default textures. I was hoping for something similar to the Pixeludi or Gerudoku texture packs, but frozen.
