For some reason, most of my custom models (Using custom model data on the carrot_on_a_stick) work perfectly, but the NPC model I just tried making refuses to work. Any help is welcome!
Code:
{ "parent": "minecraft:item/generated", "textures": { "layer0": "minecraft:item/carrot_on_a_stick" }, "overrides": [ { "predicate": { "custom_model_data": 1 }, "model": "item/hookshot" }, { "predicate": { "custom_model_data": 2 }, "model": "item/boomerang" }, { "predicate": { "custom_model_data": 3 }, "model": "item/fire_rod" }, { "predicate": { "custom_model_data": 4 }, "model": "item/ice_rod" }, { "predicate": { "custom_model_data": 5 }, "model": "item/hammer" }, { "predicate": { "custom_model_data": 6 }, "model": "item/small_key" }, { "predicate": { "custom_model_data": 1010 }, "model": "item/great_fairy" }, { "predicate": { "custom_model_data": 1020 }, "model": "item/great_fairy_bless" }, { "predicate": { "custom_model_data": 1030 }, "model": "item/great_fairy_think" } ] }
the three great fairy models aren't working, but the rest are. The great fairy models are all in (resource pack)/assets/minecraft/models/item
Any advice?
How about you run the code of these models through JSONlint?

I ran it through (also, thanks for telling me what JSONLint was, I had no idea it existed) but it is still giving me a null model. Code:
No, I meant you to run the missing models through JSONlint.
Also, consider putting long lines of code into spoilers to save space and provide readability.
A: I ran all the models through, didn't change anything. B: Ok, I will do that.
Since JSONlint didn't find any errors, you will have to post your models here as well. (only the ones that don't work)
I fixed it, the texture I was using wasn't formatted correctly.
