Welcome Texture Artists
My name is Paleo and I am an avid builder of Medieval/Fantasy styled structures within the game of Minecraft. I am always expanding my boundaries but find that the resource packs in the genre of what I like to build are fairly constricting. I love the likes of Conquest, Dokucraft, Halcyon Days, A'therys Ascended and John Smith Legacy however they all lack certain qualities I would like to see in my own builds. I have mix and matched these styles as best as I could but more often than not they do not adhere and I find myself back to square one.
So I am being a bit adventurous here and am calling out to the texturing communities to help me create a Resource Pack that takes the main styles of the aforementioned texture packs and fusing them together. That being said, it is a lot of work and quite a few artists rely on their own schedules or will in creating them which can lead to several conflicts. Like I said, this is not a small task and will require Optifine finetunes, alternate metas or biome specific textures and the like as well as continual development as new things become added to the game.
The above project (at least the way I see it going) will rely on a base texture pack style (John Smith Legacy or Conquest) and we will modify from there to overhaul and eventually bring a different look to the game altogether. Like the description states, this is a paid gig if required. I am extremely patient but months or even years isn't really on my agenda. This is however a 64x64 ambition though I can settle for 32x32 if the style requires it. Further work on the custom mods I am making may also bring you extra cash if you are willing to help. Keep offers reasonable. I know its difficult to create textures but I also know (having worked with many skilled texture artists in the past) that it does not take long to produce a texture.
Please watermark any images you send to me if you feel unsafe about it. I pledge to not steal any images but I can understand if you feel unsteady with working with someone.
Please either leave me a PM or a comment below so that we can begin communications as well as any previous works be them skins, other texture pack contributions etc. There are also a few textures I'd love to see animated as well so if at all possible, please notify me of your ability to do this. I hope to see more from this and I know that this isn't something you see everyday. Please keep the comments courteous and respectful even if you disagree with my method. I read about and didn't see any rules prohibiting this so moderators, please let me know if I am in the wrong so that I can correct anything incriminating as I wish to work with you guys and am not intending to break any rules though I may have easily missed one.

You have two choices: Accept something far below the quality of those packs you mention, or it will take "months or years." Most (all?) of the projects you reference have taken years to get where they are.
I know its difficult to create textures but I also know ... that it does not take long to produce a texture.
All textures are not equally complex, nor of equal quality. But there are as of the last snapshot, 1,165 PNG files in minecraft. 1000 x "not long" = "long."
Here's how you can get something similar to what you want within the realm of possibility.
1) Pick your favorite pack.
2) Find an artist or artists that can work in a similar style
3) Hire them to build an add-on pack that replaces the parts of the base pack you like least.
Yeah, good luck on that one... since it takes so long to make a texture pack, I only tend to make the textures I want to make. You may have better luck just learning to make them yourself so you can have exactly what you want in a pack. That's what I finally did.
