So I made my own mix of mods (galacticraft, buildcraft, ic2, meteors so on...)
Now I picked the Dandelion because it worked with biomes o' plenty and it is pretty cool.
However the Dandelion texture pack is so different from the classic textures that all the mod blocks look even more hideous.
Now I have started making some of my own textures that fit in with the dandelion pack and planning to do all the mod textures in that style.
Now here is my question:
Instead of placing my textures inside the .jar mod files I just want to add them via my resource pack is this possible? if so how?
It should because biomes o plenty is linked to dandelion so why not my textures.
Okay so I figured it is very simple in "resource pack"/assets place a folder with the exact naming of your mods assets folder. In my case it was Dandelion v1.4/assets/meteors and it overrides the mod texures immediately.
