For the last few months, I've been doing research into the possibility of importing Blender .obj files with custom textures into Minecraft via some sort of mod. The last time this was possible was back in 1.7.10, which has long since become obsolete, however fond it may be in our memories of the mods of the old days. However, after Microsoft purchased Minecraft, they removed this ability in 1.8 onward.
After some discussion in AntVenom's Discord server, some people have mentioned that you can import .obj files into Minecraft using Forge, but did not elaborate. This piqued my interest, however I am not sure of all the details.
As someone who enjoys making models in Blender for fun, I would be ecstatic to be able to import those models into the game, with custom rigging and AI. However, I only know how to model, sculpt, and rig--I do not know how to code a mod, nor do I know how one would go about importing a model with a rig into a game.
If anyone is willing to try and reveal the secret of how to get Blender models into Minecraft, please do not hesitate to contact me! I would love to make this a reality.
Thank you for your time, and Happy New Year! I hope the rawring 20s does you good.

MCreator has support for .obj models, I'm relearning modding, but that is my penny worth of information.

Thanks for the info! I'll definitely look into it.
