I have made the below circuit. What I am trying to achieve is a system where you flick a lever and the floor opens up and a large chest is pushed up into the space. As it is now, this works. The horizontal sticky pistons are set to extended by default, thanks to the bit with the 5 nether blocks and this is the floor (I have left out the two floor blocks for now). When I flick the bottom lever, power is switched to the other side of the circuit. The horizontal sticky pistons immediately retract, and then the vertical ones extend after a delay. All good.
However, when I flick the lever again, the horizontal sticky pistons again extend immediately, before the vertical ones have retracted, which messes everything up and pushes the chests to the side etc.
So what I need is some sort of alternating delay.
Lever activated: horizontal sticky pistons lose power and retract immediately, vertical ones extend after a delay.
Lever deactivated: vertical sticky pistons lose power and retract immediately, horizontal ones extend after a delay.
I hope that makes sense and that someone can help me with this!

Thanks very much in advance.

Actually never mind, just found out that pistons can't move chests anyway
