Hello People From Minecraft forum and others! I may have the smallest T flip flop I made a post about this a while back but now I think I have made the smallest T Flip Flop you make in survival or creative heres a Pic:
Sorry to tell you but you're not the first person to come up with this design I found it months ago on these forums but i unfortunately don't have a source. That being said if you came up with the idea on your own awesome job this is a really great design.
So, what exactly is the configuration? Is the lowest block a dispenser or a dropper, and does it need any items inside?
[edit]
Ah, nevermind. Figured it out. Upwards-facing dropper, and one item inside. Needs a repeater right after the comparator to get a usable signal, though.
Handy design. I'll remember this, for sure
On a related note, I just made a silly iron door with a button next to it which doesn't close unless you press the button again xD
What's a T flip-flop? i luv using redstone but never heard of a T flip-flop.
P.S. cool avatar JM207:)
Basically, it's simply a way to use a button the same way as a lever. Not really useful, except for really complex redstone circuits, but that's not my cup of tea so I couldn't tell you why would it be better than a lever in those special cases.

It doesn't just make a button act as a lever, it makes any number of buttons, pressure plates, tripwires, etc, act as the same lever. They're essential for piston doors if you want to open and close from both sides.

I use it maily because the texture of button vs texture of lever...

Thanks!
This design has existed, but I can agree it is convenient.
It's this one:
Well thanks for bringing it back out in the light ill certainly be using it from now on. Instead of the 3 droppers and a hopper design I usualy use
