I am playing in a minecraft realm where we want to be able to tp but we don't want to be able to go into gamemode 1 and therefore I am trying to build a redstone clock that goes into a commandblock with the command "Gamemode 0" and then I disable the gamerule CommandBlockOutput, but when I try to do it nothing changes, my conclution right now is that that gamerule only works with commands like time set. I would really appreciate some help with how I could build a contraption that works like that. Thank you!
They will get a message if they are set back to Survival.
Run /gamerule sendCommandFeedback false
Note that this will make any command players run not visible to you. Therefor, anyone you have trusted with Operator permissions can cheat such as giving themselves diamonds with commands and it wont' say they did it.
As for the gamemode command changing in 1.13, just put the command in the command block as: /gamemode survival @a
If you and other people you trust should be given the ability to go to creative, whilst all other players are set to survival, follow the steps below.
1. Run /scoreboard players tag (player) add CreativePermissions (Note that in 1.13, you'll have to run /tag (player) add CreativePermissions)
2. In the command block, put /gamemode survival @a[tag=!CreativePermissions]

Set a repeating command block to "always active" with the command:
gamemode 0 @a
and make sure the command block is in the spawn chunks. It should run the command 20 times a second.
If you ever want to remove it just use /setblock to replace the command block with air.
This will only work in versions below 1.12.2, since the gamemode command will be changing in 1.13.
Won't I get a message when they change?
