Hello, recently i have been trying to use the /kill command to kill and get read of some ender dragon problems on my server about 50 ender dragons. The problem is is that that command does not work with the ender dragon. Can the ender dragon be killed with that command.
The command I am using:
/kill @e[type=EnderDragon]
If the /kill command does not work, you can also give yourself /effect @p 5 100 127, thus strength 127. Then you can literally kill him with one hit, even with your bare hands.
It is possible that the dragon is too powerful for the command (the command does not actually kill, but destroys a high amount of health, enough to kill the most entities), but I'm not sure. Have you tried the command multiple times on the dragon?
I don't think that's the case. I tried killing a 1 hit kill dragon and it still doesn't work
If you want to get rid of all the dragons, teleport them to a single location. Then, at that same location, summon various creepers with a Fuse 0 and a large explosion radius. It may take a few creepers to kill all the dragons. Make sure these two run in a clock.
Or just /effect @p 5 100 127. One hit, one kill, easy as that.
You would have a spam of portals spawning everywhere. I suggest teleporting them on a single location, that way the portals only spawn in the same place.

Does /effect @[type=EnderDragon] work?

For me, it took 2 hits, but I play in 1.9.2.
