Here's what I'm trying to do. Load the Herobrine map which is in a1.0.16 and fly around a bit to generate terrain and then "version hop" it up to a current version so I can run it on a modern server.
I've done the version hopping already so I know I can do this... allbeit that the terrain generation will be different, which is why I'm trying to fly around and generate a lot of terrain using a1.0.16 first.
I've got the client working (using the selection on the current launcher) and I can run around the area, but it isn't responding to /T in single player mode so I can't enter commands.
I've got a 0.1.3 server running, but the client can't connect... presumably because this is of an age just before logon server verification ... so "Disconnecting: took too long to log in" is happening.
I have tried the old java launcher but that fails to load in java - "no main manifest attribute in client.jar"
Grateful for any thoughts as to how I achieve what I want to do.
