Become a founder. Start your own business - it's hard but at the same time amazing adventure and it might work. If not then you can start another or just get a job, wait and start again.
I worked for large corp for 2 years and everything there was moving so slow I decided to start my own company with like $1k. With my wife we've build 2 companies, sold them with quite a big profit and now we are working on 3rd ;-)
I think it depends on how much money one wants. If we're happy about what we do for a living, the amount of money we might make might seem enough. It also depends on lifestyle, needs, obligations, and responsibilities. For instance, a single person may most likely require less money than one with a pet or a single parent.
If making enough money (such that your bank balance steadily increases every month despite expenses) is your goal, then you have to find a lucrative job and make some lifestyle compromises. At the same time, you may have to be willing to do something you may not really like.
I think that the best way to make money in 2019 is a cryptocurrency! I have chosen this area for a long time to make money and do not regret it. I have a steady income and this money is enough for all of my needs. If you also start making money in this area, I advise you to use cryptocurrency forecasts so as not to lose all your money. I choose the most stable cryptocurrencies, prices for which are constantly growing, such as Bitcoin, Altcoin and others. I wish you success and I hope my post will be useful for you!
On topic: Like suggested above, mining some form of cryptocurrency would be an easy way, but you'll have to consider:
A: If your computer is powerful enough to do so (cooling included)
B: If you have the time to do so
C: How you're going to turn it into actual dollars
You should start with Dogecoins, just to get a grasp at how it works. If that doesn't work out for you, maybe you can give a go with offering your skills and getting some money in return (ex: making a game that downloads through AdFly links and allowing people to volontarily donate to you if they like it that much).
If only I'd got in on that in 2014...
I don't know much about it but if you have some money to spare investing is always a good bet, robo-advisors are making that real simple these days.
