Someone could take an embarrassing picture of you and share it on Facebook or Twitter. Then people could re-post it or re-tweet it hundreds or thousands of times, until the next viral meme is a picture of you making a weird face.
If you don't want this to happen, simply don't let people take embarrassing pictures of yourself. Common sense, people.
An alarming number of adolescents today are taking nudes and sending them to their precious boyfriends who they believe they can trust until, shocker, they suddenly start finding that the same picture they sent is on Facebook and spreading uncontrollably—despite the fact that absolutely nothing was stopping them from taking the picture. They're creating their own problem, and facing the consequences.
I do agree that depression is a real problem, but most of this 'cyberbullying' is a product of the victim's stupidity.
this thread was made to express why cyberbullying can be ignored and stuff but it just turned to big argument, well guess what...
u guys r right in every way that you argue because u can definitely ignore every single message but u can also feel very depressed because of all of the mean walls of texts u get 24/7 of course that doesn't mean u should commit suicide, it all depends on the person being bullied!!!
Yes, really. Most of the time, school authority figures are useless when it comes to bullying.
What do you mean school authorities, most authorities. Strong persuasion is a good tool for getting yourself out of a jam and criminals are the ones that usually have it.
If you're cyberbullied, try to remember that a lot of the time, the bully is also being bullied. Just believe in yourself. Also, try to hang out with people who you know aren't bullies and know who not to hang out with.

Yeah I see what you're trying to say.. but you can't have sympathy like that for someone when you're the victim, you must experience it, you don't think with the mindset "oh well, they are just taking their anger out of me, that's okay" it's still wrong. If someone is being bullied they should seek help, not make happiness for themselves by making other people suffer the pain as well.

Kids in Uganda are forced to watch rebels murder their families in front of them and they don't go around killing themselves.
But when kids in America have someone make fun of them on the internet they think well turning the computer off is out the question I should hang myself. It's pathetic!
That is how I see it, I would think it would be easy to ignore the perpetrator.
I have a special ability to change colors, I can change into just about any Color.
I got this special ability from eating a Grand Star.

on YT and on FB to all of his friends and the public. The best thing to do is to tell your parents about this person.
It worked out and we became friends again. If this doesn't work for you, IDK anymore ways.
just like many others, there are millions of people who are seriously hurt by bullying.
