In elementary school, it must have been around 3rd grade, there was this kid who always hung around the swingset at recess selling Atomic Warheads (a popular candy in the 1990s). I used to buy some from him for a quarter but back then we were just acquaintances. It wasn't until much later in 7th grade when we sat next to each other in a study hall. We started joking around and eventually he merged into my clique of friends and a couple years later was officially my best friend. We started a candy business together in 11th grade but he wasn't a very good salesman so I bought him out but we still remained friends. Now, we've both graduated college and have jobs in different cities, but we keep in touch and play Minecraft together regularly. I still consider him my best friend after all these years and he's one of the only people I still talk to from back in my grade school days.
Well... I'm not too sure we bounded in first-grade then some how became besties in second. My memory isn't very reliable when it comes to things that took place when I was anything preceding middle school.
First year of middle school. Many people know him as "Matt", "Matthew" or "shadowbubble" on my youtube channel. It started in our math class of grade 6. We were the two 'odd' kids of the class and seemed to get along incredibly well! For our work we even helped eachother out amazingly well. Although, we did chat quite a bit but it never interfered with classwork. Our teacher didn't see it that way and split us up. Over the school year we always laughed and joked while trying to sneak beside eachother, each time the teacher having to split us up again.
We were weird and made fun of the teacher a lot, never to her face but we had a fun time with it. Throughout middle school we were in the same class coincidentally and in our first year of high school, we share most of the same classes together for both semesters! We hang out every week almost every day since grade 6. We have bonded incredibly and we are now partners in crime, I honestly don't know where I'd be without Matt right now.
I support this, this, and this. And this now. Also this.

It's not my fault
