Skype Call from friend till like 4 am (I'm on one right now xD) the fact that my internet is faster at night so i can watch all the videos i couldn't watch during the afternoon.
I hardly sleep at night.
But I tend to over think situations in my head, insecurities, I stress about school, I think about how many hours sleep I could get that night from the time I'm thinking about it, I just generally don't sleep much at all. So many things keep me up at night, its made my health deteriorate quite a bit as well.
Recently, I have just had trouble sleeping.
I haven't been plagued with existential fears or any of the sort. I have just been finding it hard to sleep.
It has been taking me 3-4 hours for me to finally fall asleep, and it really has been taking its toll on me. I have only been getting around 5 hours of sleep, and I have been prone to sickness due to it.
I'm just unable to get throught a single night without sleeping. I got to say however I sometime take a while to sleep since I love just visualising stuff and it's often mentally demanding enough that it awake me instead of making me sleep.
I stay up at night thinking of fanfiction, plots, Minecraft, and Fire Emblem Awakening. And I just think of "What if?" and just think about life and make up random stories.
Loud neighbours. Downstairs it's music, arguments, DIY refurbishing and drugged up wailing. They have absolutely no sleep routine, they just sleep and wake as they please at any hours so this often goes on late at night and odd hours of the morning.
Upstairs isn't so bad and not really their fault. The previous tenants installed hard floors before the current tenants moved in and now whenever they walk around it sounds like hooves clopping around. Also vibrations carry so it's loudly audible whenever they open or close drawers, drop something, arrange items in their room (I guess, that's what it sounds like) or make any kind of impact on a surface that will result on a thud or bang. This can be really irritating when I'm trying to sleep. As I'm dozing off a sudden noise can cause me to have a hypnic jerk. It feels like a sudden adrenaline kick or electrocution and because of that it takes me a while for my heart to slow down and to stop feeling breathless. Really horrible feeling and happens several times a night purely due to noise.
