Twitter:
Very simple. Easy to navigate and get the news out to your friends.
Great for people creating stuff because they can easily post small updates whenever.
Facebook:
Great for groups of people to socialize.
Amazingly advanced for businesses to interact with fans and consumers.

If you think I left out any facts for Twitter or Facebook, post them in the comments please. When voting on the poll, please also post why in the reply box.
It's too late for me to wake up from the hype of Facebook hating, and heck I never use it anymore anyway (except for checking some things *coughanodicrecordscough*), so Twitter.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I'm leaving the forum, if anyone cared. You can find me on OC or FFR.
That's like comparing apples to oranges. Each social network has completely different functions and purposes: Twitter is for following people you don't know personally, while Facebook is a practical way to keep up with people you know.

I thought of the same thing. But just as many people actually use it to follow and post to friends. Though like you, I use it follow people I don't know such as everyone from the Mojang team and 4jstudios so I can get the latest mc news.
None of them.
I sometimes come on Facebook, read some messages and accept some invites, etc.
But other than that, meh.
Most of the crap people post is stupid and not worth caring about, note that both are filled with attention seeking hormoning teenagers. (don't tell me hormoning isn't a word)

For those of you about to post, like Homem Pigman said "This is like comparing apples and oranges". It is. None of these services are "Better" than the other because they are no where near alike. I am only asking which one you use and why.
Example: You could compare Facebook with Google+, but not with Youtube. Youtube could be compared with Vimeo, but not with Twitter.

Also, I reeeally don't care to see pictures of every little thing that happens in my friends lives.
So Twitter
I only use it to follow the Mojangstas.

Hormoning is NOT a word. XD
Facebook just seems easier anyway.
Twitter is just, ugh. Facebook is much easier to keep in touch with friends.
I made it a word.
What does this have to do with the topic again?
