So i decided to start up some of these tests for anyone who's willing, to take.
Using MSpaint, I want you to follow these instructions below:
0- When drawing any of these shapes, make only one attempt, and use the pencil tool.
1/2- these shapes can be drawn in any direction.
1- Draw a circle, make it as perfect as it can be.
2- Draw inside the circle, a triangle. make sure the corners of the triangle barely touch the circle's line.
3- Draw inside the triangle, a square. make the corners of the square just touch the lines of the triangle.
4- Draw inside the square a Octagon, make sure the octagon's sides touch the lines of the square.
5- Draw another circle. make sure the line of the circle does NOT touch the octagon.
Post your results below, and take note of these questions
-How hard was it to draw the shapes perfectly?
-cover or fold your drawing in half. does the left side look better? or the right side?
-When drawing the circle at step 5, was it hard to not make it touch the octagon?
-when your lines bumped, or moved off, did something in your environment happen?
-Was it difficult for you to connect the edges of one shape to the lines of the one outside of it?
Happy test-taking everyone, i hope to see some really creative results.
It may also be cheating cause I have a drawing tablet, haha.
But the left side definitely looks neater, probably because I'm a lefty.
