Just been wondering what could you guys have as a favorite quote, or lyric. Just out of curiosity I guess.
I'll do a quote and maybe a line from a song, since I did start this.
"Buy the ticket, take the ride." - Hunter S. Thompson, he's the man. This basically is self explanatory, basically just do something your offered, you'll enjoy the road it takes you on.
"You said, "Do you believe what you're sayin'?"
Yeah right now, but not that often." - Modest Mouse. It was hard to choose a favorite for this band because there are so many good choices. Guess this just shows how indecisive people are even though they will stand by their points they make, but a few months later they will move onto something else.

Never had to think twice, always knew my home was in paradise!
"If ever you find yourself to be truly happy in life, just wait. It will pass." - It's the first one that comes to mind, saw it on a bumper sticker once and it's hilarious (and kinda true). I like to reuse tons of idioms so I can't say I have a favorite quote.
I also can't post a favorite line from a song, due to the rules and such. I don't have one favorite then either. I can tell you one of them comes from Killing in the Name - Rage against the Machine; You can figure it out from there I'm sure.
"He who fights monsters should see to it that he himself does not become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you."
— Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil
"What if we hadn't been each other at the same time
Would you tell me all the stories from when you're young and in your prime
Would I rock you to sleep
Would you tell me all the secrets you don't need to keep
Would I still miss you
Or would you then have been mine"
Growing up with Metallica, I've got to know a lot of their songs like the back of my hand.
"Don't want your aid But the fist I've made For years, can't hold or feel No I'm not all me So please excuse me While I tend to how I feel" "Outta my way Outta my day Out of your mind and into mine Into no one Into not one Into your step but out of time"
"This place is a prison. And these people aren't your friends. Inhaling thrills, through twenty dollar bills. And the tumblers are drained and then flooded, again and again.
There's guards at the on ramps, armed to the teeth. And you may case the grounds from the cascades to Puget Sound, but you are not permitted to leave.
I know there's a big world out there, like the one, that I saw on the screen...in my living room, late last night. It was almost too bright, to see.
And I know that it's not a party, if it happens, every night. Pretending there's glamour, in candelabra, when you're drinking by candle light.
What does it take, to get a drink in this place?"
"Wear my badge. A vinyl sticker with big block letters, adherent to my chest. Tells your new friends, "I am a visitor here, I am not permanent.""
"Smells like autumn, smells like leaves, you don't know that you'll rust and not belong so much, and then get, left alone. Suck it up, take a run, take a walk, and don'tcha know that old folk's home smells so much, like my own.
[...]
Time bends light. Paint's, all, peelin'. Wait outside, take four rights."
"All this talkin' all the time and the air fills up, up, up, until there's nothin' left to breathe.
And you think you feel most everything, and we know that our hearts are just made out of strings, to be pulled. Strings, to be pulled.
So you think you've figured out everything. But we know that our minds are just made out of strings, to be pulled. Strings, to be pulled.
All this talkin' all the time, and the air fills up, up, up, until there's nothing left to breathe. Up, until there's nothin' left to speak. Up, until the better parts of space."
"And it occurred to me that the animals are swimmin, around in the water in the oceans in our bodies, and another had been found, another ocean on the planet. Given that our blood, is just like the Atlantic.
And how?
Well the Universe is shaped exactly like the earth, if you go straight along enough, you'll end up where you were."
"Cause' in my head, there's a greyhound station. Where I set my thoughts, to far off destinations. So they may have a chance of finding a place where they're, far more, suited, than here."
"All right, I've been thinking, when life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Get Mad! I don't want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man whose gonna burn your house down - with the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that'll burn your house down!" ~Cave Johnson

Andrew Bird is one of my favorite artists.
Lets set the world on fire
We can burn brighter
Than the sun"
"Don't want your aid
But the fist I've made
For years, can't hold or feel
No I'm not all me
So please excuse me
While I tend to how I feel"
"Outta my way
Outta my day
Out of your mind and into mine
Into no one
Into not one
Into your step but out of time"
Preferably these lines:
"This body holding me reminds me of my own mortality.
Embrace this moment. Remember. We are eternal.
All this pain is an illusion."
Makes me tear up every time.
My quote in my signature, because I really love Windows.

And of course

Most epic thing I have ever.

Can't remember where I heard that but I love it.
