Retired StaffNot font, font would be like Times New Roman 24 Bold Italic, whereas typeface is Times New Roman (i.e a collection of fonts that are closely related).
Personally, I am a fan of Frutiger.

Actually, I like most fonts given the right context. I wouldn't use any one font for everything, so I can't really say I have a favorite.

Retired StaffHelvetica is actually my favorite. It's plain and simple, which I really like.
