If I had the opportunity and knew it was likely I wouldn't get caught, I'd probably at the very least try a beer- but not get "wasted."
That's a big issue with kids and drinking nowadays. My parents, my aunts, etc. have admitted that they drank before they legally could- but when they explained it, they always talked about how they were just chilling out with some friends and drinking a beer or two around a bonfire.
That doesn't happen nearly as much anymore... it's more like kids just go to a party to get wasted because YOLO....
I honestly don't see a problem with an 18 year old drinking a beer or two when just hanging out with their friends. But this whole "getting smashed" thing bugs me. You can drink without getting blackout wasted- FYI.

That's only because you only really hear about the bad examples.
I remember when I was around 12 after having a big alcohol and drugs are bad m'kay talk I was like Nope no alcohol for me ever (same for drugs, but that's more of a no brainer to stay away from), now I drink casually and occasionally. Opinions change.

Opinions are like armpits. Everyone has one and some stink, now if someone says your armpits stink it isn't very polite to go rubbing it in their face, it isn't going to make them say yours doesn't stink it'll just make them dislike you and your armpit even more. Remember keep your armpits and opinions respectful.

I suppose, however out of every single person who goes to my school that drinks that I know of, I've yet to hear of one that has done it responsibly. All I ever hear is "omg i got so waasted last niiiiiteeee!"
Sure, there are some responsible kids, but I really don't think there's that many.
Getting "wasted" is awful. That implies going far into what I call the land of regret. There's a thing called drinking responsibly. I highly recommend it.
Anyways, yes, I have had alcohol before. I'm 25, after all. I've taken a liking to a good gin martini. I've actually ordered one before without getting carded. This is probably because no underage person is ever going to order one. Karkov actually makes a pretty darn good gin, and it's cheap, too.
I'm almost 25 and I never drink. Trust me kids, you'll live a much more fulfilling life if you stay away from alcohol.
Back when I was a teenager, it was "cool" to go behind your parents' backs and get drunk, but I never did. Then, in college, it was pretty normal to get drunk just about every day, but I never did. Now that I'm a few years older and the drinking fad has passed, my friends just either drink socially (the majority) or not at all. I'll stick with the not at all. Everybody's used to it that neither myself nor my girlfriend drink, so they just accept it. I had one drink on my 21st birthday and one drink about a week later when out with some friends, but it has been almost 4 years since then and I haven't had a single drop.
Can people please stop saying "drinken" it's hurting my brain. The correct word is "drunk"
I've never found that beer, I just stick with Vodka.
I think I found it in Blue Moon but I only ever had a sip. I'm afraid of ordering it too in the event it'll turn out I don't like it.
It's so far what's keeping me from drinking. There's a hundred different brews and brands of beer and you're bound to find one you like. However that implies testing. Which implies paying. Which may also imply paying for a drink you may not like and throwing away money.

There's yet more to come!
Ain't bad. Though, still looking for the beer that sits well with me.

i love pancake at the disco. i love their song "I like skin now marry me" and brendon theory is so hot
A little bit every so often is supposedly beneficial. But yes, if you get hammered consistently you will have a non-existent liver.
My philosophy: drink when sociable.

Actual drinking and sipping, no.
I don't plan on it.
