Tonight, as of 9:56 MT Barack Obama has won the presidency. But I have a problem.
My dad made me get REALLY into politics this year. At least 17 kids in my class are Obama Supporters,
and I am, BY FAR, the biggest Romney supporter in my class. Well, I'm deeply scared for what will happen if I go to school tomorrow. I know in the pit of my gut, that a lot of kids are going to make fun of me. They never listen to me, when I try to explain the facts, but they just laughed at me, and told me to go "suck it".
Just today in class we had a "kids pick the president" survey, were they tried to see what would happen if kids picked. Well Romney lost. By a lot. Like no red states. I think it was fixed, or something. Anyway, Kids looked at me, laughed, and pointed fingers. At least like 10 kids.
I want to do something, but I'm am honestly scared to go to school tomorrow. I have been bullyed a long time. But is the icing on the cake. Please help me.
TL;DR
Kids in my school will make fun of me, because Romney lost.
Advice?
The Commies count their quarters and the ArtSci wish they could, the Engs have the longest pole and slam it home for good, so big, so hard, so tall, it reaches all the way to heaven, so shut your hole, we climbed the pole, we're sci 1 ing 7!!!
The only thing i can say of what I experienced with Bush and Gore is to deal with it.... and next time just don't get involved... voting was a private thing meant to be talked among'st those you trust in and who don't mind your ideals. that's long gone in this society so i just dont talk about politics. i know who I'm gonna vote for and what reasons are for me alone to know.
Be mature about, hopefully they'll do the same for you. If not, skip...
Hopefully, but nobody is smart enough to listen to reason. One more thing. I am also worried about the 16 trillion My generation is going to have to pay off.

The teachers really shoulda seen this sorta thing coming. Politics is a heated enough topic as its is, prone to making even full grown adults behave like children. Making actual children join the discussion is just asking for trouble.

Yeah.
My dad does a heating and cooling service. This man I live near, Asked for my dad to order him a furnace. When he got it ordered, He already got another company to do it.
Sometimes a 12 year old is 20 times more mature then a 60 year old man.
I would just ignore them and be like "there will always be a next election to see who will win." Ignoring bullies is the best way to go. Also if they are ignoring your facts then screw them, it's their loss.

No advice from me. Personally, I will probably stay home tomorrow. I know for a fact everyone in the class will be talking about the election, and everyone will ask me (I'm one of exactly two anti-Obama-ers) about the election. The first thing that happens after that first word to me about it will be a massive belligerent rampage, so if I go to school tomorrow, it will almost certainly end up with me in juvenile hall. If this makes the national news, it was me.
They most likely repeat what their parents tell them. That is quite typical of children. Although I greatly disagree with Romney, I would encourage you to stand up for your viewpoints, especially if you can back them up - something your classmates apparently have trouble with. Just knowing that you (hopefully) think and make decisions for yourself should be enough to realize you're doing one better than the rest of them and get you through the harassment.
Good luck!

I like to follow insults with "your point is?" Results are usually hilarious.
Edit: How many times do I have to hit ctrl+c before I finally change my aim to hit ctrl+v?

I don't doubt a thing liek that would happen in our day and age.
I can't spell, don't shoot me for it! Computer: Intel i5 2500k (Not overclocked for now) 8GB DDR3, 60GB agility3 SSD, 1TB 7200rpm storage, HIS-AMD HD6870. 3 1080p Screens, and one 17 inch, running on the HD3000 and the 6870.
I wouldn't sweat it too much, either choice was a failure. I can't think of a single thing to put either in a positive light. There were plenty of better choices, but mainstream media has too much influence on the perception of who's in the race and who isn't. It's a damn shame. Ron Paul comes to mind, as well as Gary Johnson and others, so many far superior choices. What we will likely see now is a ramping up of the "Iran has nukes" propaganda now that the pesky election is out of the way as well as ever more frequent austerity packages for the banks.
Bragging rights over who won the election is the least of your problems now.
You had your chance America, you really did.
Enjoy your multiple wars and inevitable economic crisis.
Back when I was in high school, we had a mock election and John Kerry won. My friends all immediately rubbed it in my Bush-supporting face. And then they stopped, because, politics aside, they're still my friends.
People who want to tease you are going to regardless of external circumstances. It's not who you vote for or who won or how you look. Just stand up for yourself and don't listen to their crap. Your candidate losing the election doesn't magically invalidate your viewpoint.
That was off topic, and doing the same stuff that I was talking about.
So.. Your point?
you have been bullied a long time and you support a bully.

Well unless you said that Romney was going to win then you have nothing to fear, but if you told them that Romney is going to win and lost then just admit defeat. Him being defeated does not render his policies as false, just unpopular.

Get over it. It is not like they will tease you for more than a short time.
From what I have seen, from my news network, Barack won Ohio and that was it.
Let's hope? For change? (I couldn't help it)

I agree. But I have a blabber mouth. A big one.
