Yes i have, but arguing with proper logic will make them give up. That's my way, since they can't use proper language. Report to the teacher? nah,if they punch me in the face,i punch back twice as hard. I don't even care if i get punished for that,it was worth it after all.
You bet I was, up until 4th grade where I beat the crap out of one of the bullies. Him and his friends were beating me with a hockey stick, I disarmed it from them and rammed one of them in the stomach with it. He also recieved several head blows with the thing. The bullies then left to take him to the medical room.
All that "If someone tells you to beat up the bully, it doesn't work", doesn't work. If you beat them up, they might (MIGHT) gain a newfound respect for you. (At least from my personal experiences).
One of the schools I went to had to be turned into a K-4 school due to budget cuts, so I ended up getting transferred to another school.
First problem: It was right next to the high school. Literally. They share the same courtyards.
Second problem: It was over crowded. I was on the bus and I got off the wrong bus stop, ended up having to ask a Comcast guy who was pulled over to call my dad and have him pick me up. That was on the first day of school.
Third problem: Only 3 of my friends were in the same school with me. NONE of them were near my area of the building so I never saw them except for lunch. If we got up and went to another table, we would get detention so I couldn't go up and talk to them.
In my first day I made pretty much everyone hate me by doing nothing. I also got yelled at by a teacher for dropping my pencil. I got my face slammed into a locker for being bisexual. I almost got into a fight on my first day.

Never had to physically deal with a bully, nor have I been bullied myself.
I have however told some kids younger than me [with a fair bit of force/volume] to stop picking on this kid because he wasn't good at dirt jumping.. we all start somewhere.
Yes, I dealt with one very nicely. I Have a friend who is always getting bullied and bothered, when someone confronts them about it, The bully says "I'm just playing with him." and everyone automatically believes him. So one day he was bothering my friend outside while he was waiting for me to go to his house to play MC, and I had my foam iron sword with me, So i put it to good use. I jumped in front of my friend and whacked the bully with it. he stepped back in shock. And then tried to punch me but I whacked him again...hard. He finally got the message and stalked off. He never bothered my friend again.
P.S. when he was stalking off I shouted to him: SCREW YOU NOOB!
I was bullied in highschool mate, bad. Best advice I can tell is either stand up for yourself and put them in your place or ignore it and walk away. Once you hit college things change, well some people change and some don't. When I was in highschool I used to get hot coffee poured on me in front of teachers, pushed down stairs and tripped every day. One day, I snapped, stood up to about 7 guys and it stopped. Ya, you'll probally get in trouble but who cares, you stood up for yourself. That's all that matters. Do what I did, go off to college, be sucessful and come back to your 10 year highschool reunion in a Ferrari F430 and watch alll the people who gave your trobles jaws drop! Priceless!
