I'm red-green colorblind, Protonopia as the proper term. I was wondering if anyone else here was too. Anyone that says yes will undoubtly be male because the chance in females is 1 in 50,000 if the gene is present, or something, I just got really unlucky.
People that aren't don't seem to understand & shove things in my face asking me what color I see. In school, my go-to answer was that it'll be brown when I shove it up their ass. Now I explain that they should think of a bumper sticker that's been left on a car for 5 years- that you can still see the colors, but they're faded, so similar colors look alike. I explain that purple is blue, & I can't tell the difference between red & brown M&Ms unless I put them nest to each other.
Anyone else have to deal with this? Please don't be a douche, as I am unfortunately serious.

I blame Minecraft for the letters on my W, A, S, & D keys being completely gone.
I'm not, though my biology teacher is, and the day he was supposed to wear white to school, for a spirit day, he wore yellow instead. It was actually kinda sad.
Somebody that I knowed was also (half) colorblind, but that was when we were 8.
Some friends and me asked him sometimes ''Wich color is this?''.
It was kinda sad because he couldn't answer.
He also could'nt see the difference between red, brown and green.
No, I have pretty bad nearsightedness though. But my step-brother is colourblind (red I think?). And his sister has glasses. And his mom is blind in one eye. And my entire family except my mom and brother is nearsighted, but my mom's vision is getting worse. And my boyfriend has mild nearsightedness. And almost every friend I've ever had wears glasses at least sometimes... I think I curse everyone I meet with vision problems. xD

Not everyone is a douche, some of us are just here for a good laugh. We're not noobs around here. You should also avoid bad language because it sets off sunprep and the other mods. Just be yourself. People will stand up for ya for this.

I heard from my bio class that Colorblindness is a gender linked trait.
So I think it's more common in boys.
I don't have colorblindness, but it must stink for you.

Now for a limited time you can try Mirkwood for free for a month. Mirkwood is not for everyone, especially children, women who are pregnant, or may become pregnant. Side effects include: nausea, vomiting, loss of bowel control, urges to speak German at random moments, explosive radiation poisoning, mutation, itchy, watery eyes, protein denaturalization, high fever, gooifying, potty-mouth, loss of charisma, and death. You must be 18 or over to be eligible to take Mirkwood. Ask your doctor if Mirkwood is right for you.

Is that a type of colour-blindness? Because my left eye sees more red and my right eye sees more blue.
I have that aswell. Maybe it was because as a child I wore 3D-glasses and shined my dad's laser pointer in my eye...
Wow I was stupid when I was younger.
In all seriousness. I have a problem where my left eye is slightly red, and my right eye is slightly blue.
Also, I'm sorry you have to deal with it, especially the way people act towards you about it.
Tritanopia since birth. I can't see blue or yellow.
Nope, no colorblindness here.

Yeah, it has to be on both x chromosomes for the trait to carry over, but since guys have x and y chromosomes it's easier to get it.
