Why the hate for ponies? Just because you aren't a fan of the show, doesn't mean that you should harbour a disgust for those who are.
It's the fact that almost all of them are the same. All people with MLP avatars are the same person to me, same with the people with the default avatar.
I suppose, they tend to be relatively generic to me. But that is coming from someone who doesn't watch the show, to the MLP trained eye, all the avatars are probably unique and funny.
I'm with you on the default though. Seems to just be one guy.
I watch(ed) the show, doesn't make a difference to me. There are a few that stand out, but other than that they seem almost identical. I had a MLP avatar *cringe* last year when I was watching the show. Sometimes I couldn't even find my own posts.
Even if you've never seen the show before or care nothing for it, I simply don't see how you might perceive everyone with a pony avatar as being 'the same person'. I don't understand or know anything about Homestuck, but I have no problem distinguishing everyone with an avatar of it. The Steve avatars I can understand though. I don't know why anyone would keep that for more than a dozen posts

I hate avatars like mine because it has black bars on the top and bottom and it isn't showing the whole image because I can't figure out how to fix it.
