And finally, I shall wake up on December 22nd and witness the chaos and destruction brought on by fanatics. Humans are the harbingers of their own destruction. Not some calendar that didn't consider leap year in it's equations. Technically, if the Mayan calendar really did predict "the end," it would have happened 7 months ago.
The Mayans were around a while before the Romans, therefore there was no such thing as leap year at the time. Maybe the people who converted the Mayan calendar to our calendar accounted for leap year, I have no idea. But still, come on. The leap year theory is a really good point.
