what is darkness? complete utter Darkness? or should I ask what is occupying this darkness...
I wonder, since we are mostly sense based, and our vision is perception of bouncing light waves, is there some form of matter, life or energy that harnesses in the dark, adverts to light, or altogether is sentient about the matter...
Theoretically all it takes is some anomaly in the universe to endow a race of beings the ability to avoid light waves altogether, possibly even matter itself...

Villagers need to turn into zombies once killed by a zombie... March 24th 2012
I like it just because of all the possibility's their is... reminds me of "so you want to be a wizard" Nita's sister is running wild and is told "thank god that darth vader isn't in this universe" or something like that lol anything is possible!
I am a Brony and I am proud of it! Also, Rainbow Dash is the best pony! And if you wanna play some TF2 my steam name is Ninjagamer598. Also, have this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1HZp4ClFXY
The fact that our universe is constantly expanding, and that our closest star is 400 light years away.
Also the fact that theoretically EVERY galaxy has a black hole in the center,
I am also quite mystified about what would actually happen if someone got trapped in a blackhole, though I theorize that time would appear to stop, and you would be ripped atom by atom.
The theory of wormholes are interesting for me too.

Some people use thought as an escape from contributing in life.
Isn't it mind-boggling that this universe may actually be inside of a black hole, and that black hole is in another universe, and that universe is another black hole and so on?

No. That sounds extraordinarily silly. I wonder who came up with that little 'theory'.
I'm clearly not an expert... but the whole gravity pulling the universe inward (or "Big Crunch") never made any sense to me. If we're going to operate under the assumption that there is nothing outside of the universe, a frictionless environment, I don't see how anything could stop it's progress of expansion. I realize that gravity will build up inside the universe and the bigger it gets the more impressive it becomes... but can it really overcome the outward push? I'm sure there's a lot I don't understand about the situation; so possibly.
I never imagined gravity being capable of enacting itself on the expansion of the universe's boundaries, I personally thought it would only pull together entities that already have considerable mass.
I'm not an expert either, and I'm certainly no physicist. I still try to keep up with it though. Which is why this was interesting to me.

Why? It would lend credence to the universe expanding, as well as gravitational, and dark energy force's actual source. The big bang as a theory is full of holes (no pun intended), black holes are hypothesized to condense matter. Its certainly not outside the realm of possibility.

Yo dawg, I herd you like universes, so we put your universe in a black hole in another universe in another black hole in another universe in another...
Although space hurts my brain when my brain tries to think up how aliens would look -- not the stupid three-eyed slug aliens we see typically in TV shows, but aliens that actually look like they exist. There you see how my brain explodes daily.

Not at all. The universe is expanding, not magically obtaining more mass.
Just because there is a chance something is true/can happen doesn't mean that chance is high, or that the idea is not foolish.

There are theories that suggest that space isn't empty at all and that it is filled with "virtual particles" that pop in and out of existence.. That and the illusive "Dark Matter".

"God put two white people in the jungle without sunscreen. And they [had intercourse] and now we got people. We got Black people, Arab people, Oriental people and with the amount of inbreeding, very few retards. It seems so plausible!"
I love the beauty of it. Take of few look at some pictures of Galaxies or Nebulaes. They're absolutely beautiful.
You know that the colors are photoshopped, right?

So people can actually tell what's going on, otherwise it all looks like a big mess.
The photos scientists get from far away nebulas and galaxies are not VISUAL photos. They're "snapshots" of radiation, energy, heat and etc.

its a game where you can pilot the saturn V or the space shuttle! :biggrin.gif:

Then the new stupid fact: End of the universe in 3012.
Yes, stupid fascinates me.

Universe-ception.
Mostly moved on. May check back a few times a year.

^Many thanks to Nerevar117 for making this.

Photographs of our solar system are real (I think?), but photographs of far away nebulas and galaxies have the color edited in.
