Well, when it is used as a trait OF YOURS I think it is very cool Sir.
Haha, glad you got 60 hours of community service, how about you don't get caught next time, eh? Or did you get in trouble for snatching that piece of candy from your friend's grandma?

Do tell how you picked up an A-level or equivalent in computing at the age of 13.
Also, C++ and FTP are completely unrelated, and when you were going to lie, you could've at least picked a language that is commonly used to build websites.
Also any developer worth his or her **** wouldn't turn "Coding Language" into a proper noun. Also web design is scripted, not programmed. Most of it anyways. Plus C++ is unimpressive. Learn erlang then come brag about some ****.
You're 11 years old, so your options aren't exactly brilliant. At 11, unfortunately you cannot legally work for an employer (not where I live, anyway), you can't drive to a job, and getting parents to agree with you dealing with strangers will be a challenge. Even doing surveys would be a challenge, since for most sites you have to either be 13 or 18.
If your parents don't mind you dealing with strangers, then washing cars, walking dogs and mowing lawns is definitely more profitable than anything you'll find online.
If you have to do something online, then you could try to become a YouTube partner (if you have a vidya camera), you could do those AdFly links (although those pay very small amounts)...
Another option, would be to offer your services of a skill that you may possess. For example, you could learn to write in HTML, XML and CSS, then make websites for people. My sister has a friend, who was the son of one of my old teachers, and he learned how to make websites at a really young age and now he makes a ton of money.
You could learn how to make Apple Apps. There's a $99 fee for the software that you make it with, but if your parents agree to it, it can be a massive money maker. Decent apps make anything around $6000 per year.
On another hand, you could learn how to carve wooden sticks into small models, or get a cheap clay spinner thing, and sell small clay pots. (You have to cook them before you sell them)... Or if you're a decent artist, you could even paint/draw, and sell the artwork. You can do that art one both online and offline... Selling physical paintings, or getting commissions from people on sites like DeviantArt, oDesk, and eLance.
I hope I've opened your eyes a little bit onto your options.

Not sure if it still works. But you can use Ladders as sort of a way to get up higher places. - - Quoted from a post by Unit7
Dude easiest way to earn money ever is to sell random stuff on ebay. Do some reasearh, you would be suprised how much some of your crap is worth. For example this huge lego set I got for $300 when I was 10 was discontinued and I sold it for $500. Then once yo are done selling all of your own stuff, ask people like parents friends and especially grandparents if they have anything you want to sell. Normally you can get like 20% profit but sometimes they will just give you all the profit! I made another $400 selling some of my dads old dvd players and stuff (at 20% profit), and my grandfather gave me $150 in electronic components and let me get all the profit! Seriously if you know what you are doing you can make tons of money on ebay!
Why not wait a few years, get work and get a better mac? Its hard not to be patient but technology changes so quickly these days that a mac from today will depreciate in value like a block of cement through water. Plus you'r 11, you shouldn't need a mac, you shouldn't even need a computer at all until at least the age of 13, and even then, it should only be for study and not games. I'm saying this because I fell in the same trap, games took up my life when I was younger and its hard to get out of it, especially when it distracts you from the more important things in life such as school work...
Don't make the mistake I did, save up for a few years and then see where that gets you
Was I supposed to say C++ to an 11 Year old and elaborate all the information on how a site is actually made ? I was that age once and so were you, so shut the **** up ass clown.
I bet I know more Coding Language then you ever will, you unsuccessful *******.
First of all, its a violation of the ToS to be 13 and have a Curse account.
Secondly, I studied for more than 4 years on C++ and still didn't get my head around it, could be my teacher was a dips**t but moral of the story, a 13 year old shouldn't and I repeat SHOULDN'T be on the forums talking like you know everything. Go back to watching The Wiggles or Teletubbies for Christ sake and don't come back until you have some decent manners and are at least 18 years old.
The kid wants a mac, he doesn't want anything else, he wants a mac, give him advice on how to get a mac, do not tell him to get something else, you aren't helping him with the question he originally asked.
You must have completely misunderstood. Do me a favor and look at the title. See, to me it says "How do I get money at eleven years old?". Now, people here are trying to advise him not to get a Mac because it costs more than a PC that essentially does the same thing. Saving money would get him more money. See the logic there?
Just think and you won't have me and every other semi-mature person facedesking. We didn't come here for OS wars, if you want to discuss the advantages of one OS over another, either do it on a thread or make one of your own. Don't be silly, read the rules.
You know, I would've liked this post if only you didn't add the extremely condescending tone. Calling yourself "semi-mature" and referring us to the rules doesn't help either as if we're a bunch of neanderthals that need your guidance once in awhile. If you got something to day, don't be a **** about it. It makes you look foolish.
If you know a bunch of kids that bring money in too school and would be happy to buy fizzy drinks, cookies, choc bars etc. You could make money from that as well but it will take quite a while.
Well, when it is used as a trait OF YOURS I think it is very cool Sir.

Should'nt of took the cookie then!
OT: What the **** kind of district ******** is that? :blink.gif: :ohmy.gif:
Shouldn't*
What are you talking about now?
P.S. You're 11, go outside and mow lawns, if you don't you will regret it.
Also any developer worth his or her **** wouldn't turn "Coding Language" into a proper noun. Also web design is scripted, not programmed. Most of it anyways. Plus C++ is unimpressive. Learn erlang then come brag about some ****.
Look at the image. I highly recommend getting advice from the Computers, Software and Technology forum.
As for getting money, wash the car, mow the lawn, walk people's dogs, do odd jobs around the house, get a newspaper route etc.

Semantics. You know exactly what they were talking about. Why even bother arguing about it?

Aw man. I was kinda waiting for your reply. We don't have to continue this publicly though. If you feel the urge, private messages would suffice.
