Wait, then that means every dream I've had that I remember is a lucid dream, maybe, I'm not aware that I'm dreaming at the time, but I still have control over what I do, just not what anyone else does.
Thats sweet! I have been working on a method for attaining a Lucid Dream, but no luck yet :sad.gif:. Its only been about a week though ^^.

Yes I've had a lucid dream. People dream all the time. I think most people have been lucid more often than they remember. I really don't understand the fascination the internet has with lucid dreaming. Treads keep popping up but no new information is discussed.

Not really, that would explain why I usually can't remember dreams. The only ones I remember are ones where I could control what *I* was doing, I had no control over surroundings, and I only remember dreams a few times a year.
I used to be the same way. I might remember my dream for a minute or so after waking up but then lose it. It's probably already been mentioned in this thread but there is a way to help yourself remember your dreams. Write them down in a dream journal after waking up.
Now... hold on... you're having a "no ****" moment and that's not what I mean. It's the act of critically thinking about your dreams that helps you remember them more. So writing them down isn't the important part, you could merely speak aloud about it (to yourself or someone else). If you get in the habit of trying to think about your dreams you'll start to remember more and more about them after waking up. I started remembering my dreams more just because my wife lucid dreams every night and likes to talk about her dreams... so I started telling her what mine are like. I still forget a lot about them because it isn't very important to me but if I actually tried I'd say this method works well for improving dream-memory.
I typically think about them enough when I wake up that I remember them for a couple weeks at least. I have a couple that I remember from 2 or 3 years ago. My memory is just bad in general.

That sounds pretty good to me. If your memory is bad then mine is terrible. I forget things all the time.... where I took off my shoes, what I ate yesterday, etc.
To keep this post decidedly on-topic I'll relate the details of my last lucid dream. In it I gained control over the wind and could make it do what I wanted. At first I just played around with it but then about half way through the dream I used wind currents to make myself fly.
No, but I can wake myself up from dreams at will, by looking at the sky and shaking my head. Mainly because shaking my head causes pain for me, and dreams cant interpret pain, and because there is never a sky in my dreams.

Some people use thought as an escape from contributing in life.

I have realized that I was dreaming several times and thought "I need to wake up now," which has never failed to wake me up. I now realize that these probably had the potential for lucid dreams, but didn't know what lucid dreaming was at the time. Unfortunately, this hasn't happened in the several months since I began actively trying to have a lucid dream.
I once, I dreamnt I lived in a world ruled by lava monsters that were trying to destroy us. I was in jail in their capitol and they forced us to play baseball for their entertainment.I hit a ridiculously far homerun and it hit the "president in the head and killed him. He exploded and destroyed the capitol. Here's there weird things) I had control and knew what would happen 2) I read David and Goliath that day before it 3) my mom told me I came in her room and told her I saved hthe world, that I died, that she was safe, and that I loved her. (I'm using a kindle sorry for errors)
I once had a lucid dream, the produce in my kitchen would turn into random animals and start to eat people.
So i knew it was a dream, so i grabbed the butchers knife and I sliced em' up.
After I was finsished i had a sandwich, and i remembr it being SO GOOD.
After the first bite i woke up.
I dreamed that I was on some ship that was about to get hit by this huge wave that would flip it over. I could even feel the feeling of rising and falling before I woke up.
I ALWAYS have lucid dreams. Just the other day I had this dream where I could make all these hot girld appear and they'd just keep on kissing and rubbing their hands all over me until I couldn't take it anymore and I conjured a guy who just took them away. I can also just wake up from dreams at will. I love my world!

I'm just a regular kid who likes to play games. 'nuff said.
I've never had a lucid dream but I've had the opposite. It was a particularly good dream (won't go into details) and I remember thingning in the dream "Wow this is awesome, Id better pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming" so I pinched myself in the dream and did not wake up! Then of course when I did wake up I was highly disappointed lol.

That is how my memory typically works.

I will try this I just noticed that in all my dreams lucid or not there are no reflections :ohmy.gif:.
You will not see a reflection. You'll see things.
