Those are like wheat pennies, but even more uncommon. I've had a few, and several, several wheat pennies. Few other odd items of currency, including 3000 wuan at one point.
Yes, as mentioned twice above that is a buffalo nickel. I could tell you how much it was worth if I could see the date and the with the letter code. Some of these are very rare, others not so, just depends on the date and the condition, yours is rough, not sure if you will even be able to see a date. They were minted from 1913-1938, most of the earlier dates are worth 20-50 bucks, with a few that can fetch over a 1000 bucks. Like I said, depends on the date code, and the condition, the only way to get top dollar is for it to be uncirculated, but even in poor they are worth 40 cents, so you earn 35 cents.

There are 3 versions of 1925, 1925, 1925 D, and 1925 S. In Good condition, which I would give that coin actually, they are worth this much in that order, $1.31, $5.90, and $2.76. If it was in extremely fine condition, the later 2 are worth $120.00.
Edit, I see the date now, yes, just a 1925, so it is worth about $1.00 most likely.

Its in pretty rough condition so its probably not worth very much. Its fairly rare though, you should probably hang onto it.
Its a 1925 best I can tell.
