I'd simply just turn off my computer in a real situation like that. But if this was my world and I had tons of cash I would scream..."I'm not part of this system!" Then chuck my computer on the ground.

I just usually minimize whatever I'm doing and pretend I'm going to do something else. Thank god my computer is in my room and my parents knock before coming in. (My sister on the other hand...)

Watch TV shows on my computer, skip through the TV show to get straight into the advertisements.

I usually just scroll up and down the page and act like I don't think it's awkward they're watching me browse the internet. They leave eventually.

I just switch to blank page, but if i do something awesome, i let them watch :biggrin.gif:

I had this problem once with a roommate (he would do this constantly). After I backhanded him, it was no longer a problem. It's not like I didn't warn him several times beforehand.


Of course if it's someone I don't know and in a public setting, while typing a school assignment, I'll just troll them by writing random sex scenes in the middle of it. Lulz ensue.

My parents and brother will look over my shoulder to see hat I'm doing ALL THE TIME and it shots me off even if im not doing anything inappropriate or suspicious. So what I do is just minimize everything and I look at them and say I'm not doing anything, stop watching me. And I will look at them blankly and won't continue until they go away. Makes me seem very Suss from theirs POV but I don't care.

As for me, Im in my room with my own computer so I dont have anyone watching me. When my brother comes to visit and watches, i usually turn on an anime or start up a 2 player game. If I want him gone I look at him and say "you can go now"

My internet browsing is displayed on a 40in tv, so rather than try to hide what I was doing, I open a new window and look up pretty much the first offensive thing that comes to mind and read it aloud, or just stare at it if it's an image. They'll sigh, knowing what my game is, and leave me alone.

Gawd, I hate when this happens. I just usually go on minecraft, and arrange my inventory. That is always boring to watch

Then if they don't leave, I arrange my items by what materiel they are made from :smile.gif:

I check my programs list to see if I want to uninstall anything, then I run disk cleanup followed by disk defrag; happens a few times per week, and it keeps my pc optimized! :biggrin.gif:

Protip: Anything that involves a progress bar is good for getting people to leave.

im at the college library at the moment and i always jam myself into a corner so no one will want to eavesdrop. also so i can see librarians coming so i can close out my games and pretend to do something productive :tongue.gif:

I live off my mom's Mac, because PCs suck, and she watches what I do. She even reads my Skype messages and listen to me and Taylor chat. O.O. I was playing Minecraft the other day, and she was like, "Whatcha building there?" And i'll put our conversations like this: (M=Mom, R=Me)
M: What are you building?
R: An Edward Elric pixel statue.
M: That's nice.
(on Skype)
R: It was crazy, Taylor! I swear, he has kicking him so hard!
T: Woah, crazy!
M: What are you kids chatting about.
R: Oh, just schoolwork ^^"
T: Oh, y-yeah, only our work.
M: That's nice.

R: "It was weird, all she does is watch me play and comment. So creepy!"
M: Who are you talking about?
R: Oh, just a friend. She stares at me while I draw.
M: Who's forum is this?

Haha, my dad always does that. He just walks randomly inn and stares at the computer screen and don't leave. Im just like sitting there playing mine craft while he stares.

It doesn't happen to often to me. I have already told everyone to just stop watching me. When they watch me, I hate it. I always feel judged.

haha when i'm on my laptop there is a mirror behind me, and a relative tries to peer in the mirror to see what i'm doing, it gets annoying though because they constantly do it like they think i'm dumb.
