actualy i find it much more annoying when people feel the kneed too point out grammar mistakes in a thread, i notice them two but i dont want to see you're dumb post complaining about it, if you cant get the gist off what someone is saying because they misspelled there, your pretty dumb and kneed to take a reading comprehension class.

Just as much when people argue over things like favorite or favourite.
I argue with my spell-check over this ALL THE TIME. I live in America, so naturally it wants to tell me Favourite is Favorite which is just plain tacky were you to ask me. To be honest I've no idea where I learned to spell it as such, but I've been doing so quite awhile now that I think of it.
Doesn't anger me, I can still understand what their saying because I'm not an idiot..
Maybe they just type fast and think ahead so they end up messing up a lot like I do.
It always causes me to stop because I have formed a habit of converting "you're" to "you are" in my head. The same goes with the other words you mentioned. I can generally understand it, but I have to stop and think for a second or two. That and it just physically defiles the English language.
Well, when they say "There" instead of "Their" you can't tell, because vocal expression isn't really indicated through letters.
It does annoy me when they type that though.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
"Against all the evil that Hell can conjure, all the wickedness that mankind can produce; We will send unto them... only you."
Colored text indicates in-character statements/actions. Because Forum Games has basically just been a big open RP for a long time now and it's the only place I ever post anymore, when I post at all.
It's really not a big deal. At all. In any_way, shape, or form.
Fixed that for you. Anyway, proper grammar, capitalization, spelling and punctuation is very important. Even a simple mistake on a resume, for example, can cost you a job, particularly if that job is related to writing. It shows a lack of attention to detail, for one thing. Maybe you don't care enough about the job to make sure your resume is error-free. You understand where I'm going with this, right?
Their are not that many cases where there use of the three words are incorrect. For the people who do, there all idiots! They're is absolutely no way to change them though. :biggrin.gif:
And apostrophes in plural words.
There's yet more to come!
Once again, I really hope you're being sarcastic.
Oh **** off, I'm considerably good at grammar for my age.
Yeah! you leave him alone! Why it's a miracle a 2 year old can even type at all!

*sigh*

Okay, I'm just screwing with you there. They are just the ones who don't give a crap about grammar.
