Loljban is more well known, and therefore easier to crack. If I'm going to learn a constructed language I'll write in one of Tolkien's Elven languages.

I actually had been studying Tengwar a few days ago, so Elian script is a similar process.
Sorry if people's requests are derailing your thread.
Disenthas, It really is generous of you to spend time making peoples usernames into symbols.
OT: There is also a downloadable font in Elian you could use when typing things down in classes.
It lacks the graceful curves and whatnot, But it still looks pretty neat.
I'll go ahead and read through the page, I'm trying to get better with it.
I've written about a paragraph's worth of it.
Still working on it.
Just something I've noticed:
Its easier to draw the shape first, then fill it in.
Also, give the letters distinct, thick shapes to lessen confusion between them.

I have other people's signatures stuck off, so I can't ever seem them. Oh well.
I've done a little writing with it, though I still haven't gotten the hang of stacking (haven't read the whole article, I just know the basic letters).

I've always been this way. A patched-up, crazy matryoshka.
I quickly put together something for substituting Elian Script for the magic text in texture packs.
This should replace font/alternate.png. I think these need to be replaced in minecraft.jar -- I tried replacing them in a texturepack, but it had no effect on gameplay. For Elian Script simples flying between the enchantment table and the bookshelves, you will also need to change the bottom 16px of 'particles.png' in minecraft.jar.

That looks nice. It's more fluid than any of the alphabets I've used until now Although, if I were to use that to hide data, I'd make sure to use at least two levels of encryptions, ie Caesar code + Elian script or so...

I grew up with lots of siblings so I've been using something similar for years.
It's really easy to learn, just write out a random sentence twice a week & translate your previous sentence.
If you can form a habit, it's as clear as english within a month or two.
In my own version A-R were within two # while S-Z were around two X

Thanks, look at that and what I have written I can tell how stacking works.
You are my new best friend.
If you could make mine that would automatically be a +1 for you.

Slightly more OT: I think this is a really cool system! I'm going to start learning it now... :smile.gif:

1. I'm going to read all the LOTR books again, then start learning a language.
2. That's fine, it's awesome that people are interested in the Elian script! :biggrin.gif:
thank you! I added it to my sig :smile.gif:
PS: how did you make it look so pretty? :I
I bet you could somehow shape the letters to make the figure seem to be carrying a gun, or "blaster" ^__^
