Battlefield has always been one of the best fps games ever. They actually innovate.
Look at Battlefield 1942, 2, and bfbc 2. They add something new (at the time they were released)

All the battlefields have been pretty much the same.
Battlefield 3 Alpha is open to the public at the moment. Though it ends tomorrow unfortunately.
I've been in a variety of Game Testing programs. SW:TOR to name the one I'm currently in now, I've also participated in Battlefield 3 closed Alpha Testing.

Anyways, that one really doesn't count. You can just pre-order the game and get early access. Simple as that. You don't need to get lucky or win a contest or something.
I actually heard about the game when it was in infdev, but I thought the game was stupid. After I heard so many people talking about it, I watched a lot of LPs and tutorials, and finally, I bought it. By then it was already Beta :wink.gif:

I got into the beta of Sugar Rush from nexon (never got fully released)

Plus, if they do change too much, it would probably end up being closer to COD so it's good that they "don't change"
