Look, I can have some lulz sometimes but I'm trying to have a serious discussion here and it irritates me every time I'm insulted because of an opinion I openly express. I understand the first few I may have deserved due to my posts being a little bit cocky, rude and arrogant, however I'm trying to be reasonable now and it is just irritating me.
Do you mean 'opened up' as in used a mac? If so, then yes, I'm on mine at this very moment.
Also, can I just point out to people that although I use a Mac, I don't hate Windows by any means. They're both good operating systems, IMO, I just prefer the user experience that Apple provides.

Alot of the Mac Book airs have over heating problems because they put WAAAAAAAY to much heatsink gel.... To the point it can short circuit the laptop lol.

No I don't believe I will, however I would hope I could convince you that both are decent platforms and that Macs are not what you make them out to be.
I hate Apple's "Mac" computers because they are different. Yes, I said it. Different. Ever since I was a little kid, I've been using Windows. The very first personal computer (which is the REAL definition of PC. Not "machine that runs something other than Mac OS X"!) I can remember using ran Windows 95. I don't know how to use Mac OS X, nor do I care to learn. Why waste time learning new keyboard shortcuts and commands in Terminal when I already know how to fly around Windows? My friends have all tried to get me over to the Mac side at some point or another, and I despise the operating system with every fiber of my being. Yeah, I can install Windows Vista or 7 on a MacBook Pro, but I'm not paying $1,100 for a laptop to run Windows, when I can get one just as good for about half as much.
Plus, the majority of games I play would run slower in Mac OS X due to the fact that they use OpenGL instead of DirectX. So there.
For one thing, (most :tongue.gif:) Macs were never meant for graphic-intensive games and many companies do not develop games that work on the Mac. This is just one of the many reasons why some people just don't like to use Macs. Macs should (not meant for!) only be used by the standard user, workers or designers, who use it simply just to surf the internet, manage their work documents/projects or to use photoshop or other editing software. Nevertheless, it is still good enough for Minecraft to run on (because I do :biggrin.gif:) and some decent games on Steam like Team Fortress 2. Though gaming performance isn't that great on the Mac compared to the standard computer, it is still a good computer to use for other things!
The other thing that turns off most people is that high price which burns the notes in their wallets, no need for explanation on that. Hating on Macs is justifiable by anyone, but there's nothing wrong in doing so. And besides, the only thing that matters is whether you enjoy the Mac and not other people! :smile.gif:

You do realize that he was, right? Well, it wasn't so much him being chased down by the feds as it was the FTC launching an anti-trust investigation and, consequently, an anti-trust suit against Microsoft.

I've used Mac and PC both, and honestly, I prefer PC. For plenty of reasons but here is the main one...
I'm more comfortable with the operating system. That's it. I know how to use windows, I've used it my whole life. Mac's user interface is awkward to me, and since the "Lack of viruses" isn't a problem as long as you are not a moron, I have no use for a Mac. I've used torrents*, and that is a great way to get a virus.
*I use it to demo games and music. If I like it, I keep it, if not, delete and forget.

OT: I have a mac and I personally like it better than my old PC. Sure, My other PC could run games and all that, but it was much slower after three years than my mac is after 4 (I know this varies by computer, but still). I also like the way the desktop is set up more. It's a bit easier to use, and more efficient (MY OPINION) than most PCs.
In the end, it's all up to opinion. Personally, I don't care about being unable to play games on my mac, because I have an xbox that I can use if I want to play games. I've also found the tech support for mac to be much friendlier and knowledgeable than Dell, Microsoft, etc. (These are just my opinions about why I like mac. I'm not trying to pass them off as facts, especially because I know once you get a good PC it works like, 3x better than the best mac.)

I also really hate their cocky commercials.
