What would you even consider the "edge" of the universe to even be?
The imaginary line between objects where one direction leads to more objects and one directions leads to none?
Or is it where "Nothing" stops? As in, there is a void of void?
So you say that there is a better reason than the Big Bang for the CMBR and the expansion of the Universe, but yet you don't have an alternative. Never say something is wrong with proposing a superior idea.

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. -Carl Sagan
The Universe is cool enough without making up crap about it - Phil Plait

I cannot fathom the second.
It would be a point at which space ceases to continue. What it would look like, what it would behave like, we can only speculate on such things.

Let me try to wrap my head around this.
Okay, lets say for example, that's the universe, and those dots are galaxy clusters or whatever (just use the largest cluster you can muster, I'm not exactly sure, but for this example let's just say they're a cluster of mass, okay?)
Okay, the dark blue area is the void of space in the universe. The black area is the void of space outside the universe. And what we're speculating is if the void of space outside of the universe is not really space, but is simply a nonexistence of void, right?
I'm still confused, but I think you can tell why. Is there a body of nothing that's less than nothing?

There's a difference between an empty space that exists and an empty space that doesn't. It's really weird and hard to explain, but just imagine space as enompassing all that exists. There is no outside because outside doesn't exist. In fact, giving it a name, even one like "the void" is kind of disingenuous because it implies there's something there to name. This is not the case.
Then come up with a better explanation of cosmic background radiation and the expanding universe.
I cannot but there probably is.
What leads you to say that there probably is?
It's a wonderful place. Soon it has to come to an end, sad.
Hopefully we can discover all we can before we die, which will not be very soon.
That's why the theory is accepted among physicists.
Don't speculate things without researching it first.
I have researched it.

I never said it was wrong.
Your assumptions are nothing more worth than the assumption of a flying teapot orbiting Mars.
It would be a point at which space ceases to continue. What it would look like, what it would behave like, we can only speculate on such things.
Beautiful isn't it?
You do not know what I assume so my assumptions could be the same as yours.
You assume things which you cannot assume over.
I agree, the thought of an entire vastness of stars, meteors, planets, life, ect.
It makes me a bit woozy.
*Takes in deep breath* You do not know what I know or assume so you do now know if you know that he knows that I assume things that cannot be assumed.

This is a good video imagining this.

You heard that, green and red.
