Yes there is, when one interprets it the way you do.
It says he made animals first which would justify dinosaurs being around. And then it just says God made the first humans. It never said what time lapse it just says it.
It contradicts the Bible. Believe it or not Darwin used to be extremely religious and then he found out this junk and he was corrupted by it. If you ask me Evolution is simply put out to confuse people.

On the contrary, I whipped out my Bible, and at the end of each paragraph in chapter 1 it is said that a day has passed, e.g. 1, 3-5: "Then God said: 'Let there be light,' and there was light. God saw how good the light was. God then separated the light from the darkness. God called the light 'day,' and the darkness he called 'night.' Thus evening came, and morning followed—the first day."
Ok, then explain how I'm dogmatic. I change my beliefs when new evidence arises. Please explain yourself.
You believe that truth is of some utmost importance. You refuse to even explain it and resort to insults when I challenge it. Despite that sorry excuse of a debate we had back in the religion thread, you wouldn't change your beliefs, and I provided plenty of reasoning for doing so.

Maybe I'm wrong or right. But from what I can see your ignorant. You have the damn scripture in your face and you still deny it. Saddening.

Ergo, you were being dogmatic.
So, because I think finding the truth about claims is important and do not agree with you, I'm dogmatic. Yeah, nice try kid.

Rememberer what I said way before? A day from who's perspective? Gods, but what is that? Relativity asks some intresting questions, and so, well, is anyone responding to my posts?(prophecies, ect.)

Glad to see I have someone helping me out here. I never thought of it like that a day to someone who lives forever? How do you justify that?

Then god is confusing man by not stating how long a day is in his situation. It could come to further questioning whether god is right or wrong and such things could've been stopped by stating his perspective. If so he as already done this, then it was 7 days.

You realize a human named Moses wrote that right? Moses was most likely a schizophrenic sociopath, so relying on him to explain the origin of the universe is laughable.

What on EARTH does Relativity have to do with Prophecies? And what questions does it ask...

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. -Carl Sagan

I heard a message somewhere about some science behind this, but I forgot exactly what. I could perhaps find it, but it is justified somehow. I'll do some research on that some time. Good question!
edit:to other poster, Relativity is science, and I am discussing how science works with the bible. Both involve time , so it has everything to do with it....
to sojourner: It asks the question who's clock is being used to count a day, and what is a day without the sun ect.
I have to leave now, but might go on later

A day is defined as the time between sunrise and sunset.

I'm well aware of your obsession with truth. And yes, I'm aware of what dogma is... I'm religious. :tongue.gif:
You heard that, green and red.
Oh dayum you gonna take that?
Ok, then explain how I'm dogmatic. I change my beliefs when new evidence arises. Please explain yourself.

Check out both of these, yet more evidence the bible is true! I have reasons why I believe what I do.

He is not ignorant, such insults shouldn't be used, -1 points for you Alcatraz :sad.gif:
He did make light first, so you are the ignorant one.
