I have been trying to find some good, believable, unbiased information on this. And so far, I have no real approved legit facts on the said subjects.
What is your opinion the said subject? I think John was more of an atheist than anything. But thats just what I think.
This is what I've gotten so far on his views (Will add more when I find more):
The famous quote:
"Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink ... We're more popular than Jesus now—I don't know which will go first, rock and roll or Christianity."
He has been said to Anglican
The song "God"'s lyrics point out that he did not believe in the supernatural:
God is a concept,
By which we can measure,
Our pain,
I'll say it again,
God is a concept,
By which we can measure,
Our pain,
I don't believe in magic,
I don't believe in I-ching,
I don't believe in bible,
I don't believe in tarot,
I don't believe in Hitler,
I don't believe in Jesus,
I don't believe in Kennedy,
I don't believe in Buddha,
I don't believe in mantra,
I don't believe in Gita,
I don't believe in yoga,
I don't believe in kings,
I don't believe in Elvis,
I don't believe in Zimmerman,
I don't believe in Beatles,
I just believe in me,
Yoko and me,
And that's reality.
The dream is over,
What can I say?
The dream is over,
Yesterday,
I was dreamweaver,
But now I'm reborn,
I was the walrus,
But now I'm John,
And so dear friends,
You just have to carry on,
The dream is over.

Mod edit: Shairn used lock!
It's super effective!
Pointless thread has fainted!
Oh great, another religion thread.
I could say just as easily say JFK's views on religion and Elton John's views on religion. And John Travolta's. The thing in common is it doesn't matter.
