My father had an experience with one. He played with it, it worked, and one night his mother's purse fell off of a table when it wasn't even close to the edge. Just in the middle.

If it wasn't near the edge, how did it fall off? Did it fall through the table?

When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. I don't want your damn lemons! I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!
But nah, good luck getting any defense for them here since this forum censures the paranormal (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).
Er? This forum doesn't censor anything. OH, you do mean censures, Express severe disapproval of (someone or something), typically in a formal statement.
Fair enough.
I can assure you, this forum really doesn't censor things on the Supernatural. It probably censures things, but that's only because the majority of the people here don't really wish to believe in the supernatural.
I'm divided on the topic. Sure things beyond what we can understand can exist.

I have Asperger's Syndrome, a mental disorder of the Autistic Spectrum, apologies in advance if my posts seem a bit off.
It can be explained by a subtle recipe including religion, stupidity, lack of will to control one's life, depression, and lack of intelligence. No offence meant. Actually, I only read the OP post. Not the others..
Your topic title is an argument from ignorance and is begging the question.
Autonomic nervous system will affect limbs on a subconscious level. Get enough people together and, big surprise, things will move when you all hold onto them. People will voluntarily move it to freak out their friends. An earthquake is going on. Or pick any other likely response other than supernatural crap which nobody has any evidence.

If you are a Battletech/Mechwarrior geek you may enjoy my Timberwolf/MADCAT model (the source of my avatar) (warning: image-heavy link target) I will often edit my posts after I have posted them in an attempt to improve their clarity (I value a few high quality posts over several low quality ones; the more lengthy the post, the more time it requires to edit) so you might want to wait for a while if this post is recent and refresh to see if anything has changed before replying to it.
They terrify the hell out of me. I have read so many accounts of people having very strange and inexplicable things happen to them after they use one, usually resulting in something being destroyed or someone feeling very uncomfortable from that point on. FYI a few of them were total skeptics and thought nothing would happen.
I don't fool with them, superstition or not, because they are considered "gateways" and can let out some seriously wicked **** into your house.
ok, thats just like saying "If there is no such thing as spirits, then how do you explain my fear of ghosts?", Ouiji boards are just a way to say what you want to really say, but you get to blame it on someone else.
