Yes i would go insane. For millenia i will wander around doing nothing. I might eventually snap and turn sane. Very sane. Then I could start to learn about the universe or maybe fall of a cliff and die.
How can you fall off a cliff and die if you're immortal?

Hmm im thinking of the kind of immortal where you dont age but you can still get harmed = infinity life years.

The Op has not replied. I think they just died/kidnapped/brought to hell/had their soul taken.
I want Immortality. It would be fun to live forever.
Do you realize just how long forever is?
It is infinitely long. I would rather live forever than risk having nothing happen after death.
What happens when you get bored of something? When you get bored of everything? When you get bored of boredom itself? When, after life itself has extinguished itself from this pitiful universe you have nothing left, nothing but air? When, after a thousand thousand years of roaming a dead world you finally lay down the ground and just scream, scream your heart out, scream out the unfairness of it, that everyone and everything's gone but you? When, after a million billion years of that you're consumed by the expanding sun, living out what you can hardly call an existence burning away at several thousand degrees fahrenheit inside a star? When, after all of that has even vanquished and nothing remains of this universe but a few dying black holes? When, after even those leave you alone, aloner than ever before, alonest of all?
What then, Kind Polar Bear? What worth is a few centuries of nice living, if that, compared to the vast size of infinity?

I will probably go mad.

I'm not too sure if I'm a lurker or someone who posts often enough to be seen as an Otter.

So everything possible to do on earth and eat and try everything possible. Then when nothing is left to do on earth. Head for the stars.

It is also not just about feelings. The capacity of the brain is limited. You would start to forget your past at a certain point. Also, you wont be able to learn new things without forgetting old knowledge eventually.
So really Immortality only makes sense if you become something that is different from a normal human being, which kind of renders this discussion moot.
After a certain point I don't think you'd be experiencing anything memorable anyway. I mean, do you really want to be able to recall second number 1,345,752 of burning alive on the surface of the sun? I think you'd go mad long before that point anyway, of course.... :tongue.gif:

Afterlife? Again, no thank you.
Eventually, we all need a break from ourselves.
Do you realize just how long forever is?
You heard that, green and red.

I'll just live in my head.
