I'm thirteen, and at 7 I had the early mutations of Swine Flu. I'm immune, so I don't need some random person sticking a needle into my nose. Nearly killed me, spreaded to my mom, almost killed us both. Full recovery though.
You either get the shot for H1N1, or you get the nasal spray. You don't get a needle in the nose, nor can you get a spray on the arm to immunize yourself.
Taking a shot or a spray up the nose DOESN'T make you immune to a sickness. Actually, it's been known that taking a shot for it gives you a higher risk of getting that specific disease, but you're a little bit more immune to it. You're never immune from a sickness, unless it's a one time only thing like chicken pox, which I've never had. I heard it can get really bad when you're older, so I'm hoping I either never get it, or get it sooner and have it pass when I'm young. I'm positive you don't HAVE to get chicken pox in your entire life. It's just you CAN.
Anyways, I'm blabbering.
@Above poster Is food poisoning really a disease? I'm not so sure.
I don't really need to care because anyway, I've had it already, my body knows the general antibodies.
You can't eat anything or you'll **** your own brain, you must keep hungry, intestinal colic, headcache.... a living hell. 1 week and 2 days with it, do you know what is going on supermarket hungry and can't eat absolutely nothing but chicken? A damn.
Did you guys heard about "The Dark Pest"? Imma edit this post with it's info (the only way to lost the dark pest was dying).
H1N1. I had to get a long swab stuck up my nose to check for it, and when I was shown positive for the less lethal type I was literally quarantined in a glass room in 90 degree weather. In Thailand.
I caught Dengue, the damn bloody flipping Dengue, evil on me. Although, I didn't get the worst form of it. The itches where terrible, and was spotted red all over. Plus, I overreact to the medecine that stops the itching, so I could not take it...
Worst I have ever had was when I was inhaling too much of an air horn and I almost had a heart attack. All of the heart attack symptoms and a dizzy head. The next two days my lungs felt like they were bleeding I coughed so much, and they felt as if they might explode.
My last boyfriend broke up with me because he couldn't drink beer and then make out with me. Even though it would make me sick.
Can't eat or touch anything that has touched wheat barley or rye. If I do I get stomach pains, and a rash that looks like blisters that starts between my fingers and spreads to the tops of my hands.
Life long condition with no cure, no magic pill. Kakuna matata!
Btw, what are hallucinations like?
I havent done much research on the subject, so i currently believe that it is near-impossible for your mind to percieve objects in the real world.
It's usually not severe. It's not like you'll be able to travel to Narnia and back when you have a fever. If you have a high enough temperature, you'll start to hear things that aren't there, like high pitched dings or songs you haven't listened to in a while. If it gets really severe the same kind of stuff will start happening with your eyes, like you'll see a figure standing far away, or you'll have a memory of something that didn't happen.
i may just be paranoid, but i always here noises outside my room and outside.
i could use some sleep.

I would elaborate, but I'm at school in gym being lazy.
Anyway, it was a two day hospital stay with IVs in my arm and knee pain.
Now my left knee looks smaller/bony-er than my right one.
Computers scare me.
And whats worse is the fact I got it on the day of the super bowl.
