NOTE! I'm trying this out to see if this works. And please try to keep Religion out of this unless entirely neccescary. We already have a topic for that.
Have an interest in Science, do you plan on going into the Sciences, currently in the Sciences, have a question and want to ask someone, or want to share something really cool? This is the place! Please discuss anything from Biology to Cosmology.
I'll go first. I was recently looking for videos of Saturn V's, and found this.
I especially like the last clip.

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. -Carl Sagan
The Universe is cool enough without making up crap about it - Phil Plait
Biology is fascinating, but my favorite science, if it counts is COMPUTER SCIENCE!

I USED TO BE EPICJOE! I HAVE A dA! epikjoe . deviantart. com And remember, I KNOW don't click this link...
i want to have bacteria colonies. and ant colonies. and i want to fight the bacteria against other bacteria to breed excellent fighter bacteria. same with ants, but cooler cause theyre ants. and maybe if theyre really impressive, fight the bacteria against the ants. SCIENCE!
I am above average in science and I love quantum physics and microbiology. However, there are several particular users on the forums who seem to think I'm an idiot and attempt to tear me down whenever I speak of science, or even mention the word "God". Not to add religion to the subject or anything.

The iteration of these lines brings gold;
The framing of this circle on the ground
Brings whirlwinds, tempests, thunder and lightning.
My favorite science is in computers and space. huge sci-fi nerd, star trek, BSG, various mech animes.
that being said, what does everyone think of spaceX's falcon heavy? I seriously hope the cost efficient heavy lifter opens new doors for space based industry. We can easily assemble a space dock and then use that to assemble bigger ships instead of launching them, pre-built from earth.
edit: ohhhhh, the Falcon XX (still on the drawing board) might use nuclear thermal rockets.

I was a geophysics major for a while. Now I'm a philosophy of science scholar.
I am a fan of geology and biology mostly. I tend to like people who fall into the category of "natural philosopher" which is really just what scientists were called before the word "science" came about.
I enjoy all the sciences, even though I care more about practicality than knowledge itself. Currently goin' to college for engineering (except I probably need to withdraw due to money issues), and the courses I'm taking touch on a broad range.
One of the things I do that people hate is I constantly point out flaws in movies, I practically scream when no effort is made by movie makers to make things realistic.

2 see-through cages each with an ant colony.
they are connected to eachother by a cylindric tube that is see-through, and is openable/closable so i can cut off contact between them.
feed the colonies
let them grow
???
open the gates
watch the first contact
watch it get aggressive.
war.
???
laugh like a maniac.
one colony won.
WOOHOO
*replaces dead colony with a new colony and lets it grow to challenge the victor.*
For science, of course...

All of them.
All lies.
Everyone knows George Bush is a black nazi and made biology up to confuse homeless people.
Science.
I intended this to a serious topic. If you have nothing to contribute, then please don't post...

I love digging up multiple-hundred year old garbage.
Yes, Archaeology is a science.

Pouring Salt in Water makes Salt Water.
But pouring Water in salt does not.
